Both accounts ESO+, finished Orsinium on one account, haven't on the other.

It's a bit disappointing to have a "reward" that I already have BUT I'm glad others who don't have ESO+ can now play the map.

Purchased it (with the 2 guilds) when it went on sale during the January event, even tho I finished it years ago thru ESO+. I’m trying to collect all the DLC.

I’ve no issue at all with it being given away free. It’s one of my favourite zones and everyone should have the chance to experience it.

If you look at the survey data, only 6 percent of the players did not have this supplement. I think the ZOS knew about it. They have reached the highest level of skill, the reward looks amazing, but it is made of fake gold.

On my main account I already had access through ESO+. Not on my alts.

I'm happy to get it permanently. I love the story in that zone. It's very well done. It also means non paying customers now have access to Maelstrom, the weapons are still used. Even though I paid for my access, I think it's good if non paying players get access to arena's like this.

I think I have it on the old PS4 account I abandoned four years ago. I did not have it on PC, where I only subscribe to ESO+ periodically. I am not a new player (and have the beta monkey to prove it ;) ). It’s an awesome reward for someone like me. I’ve long since finished it on my main, but I like taking alts through VMA to test their builds. It’s also just a nice zone in general.

As someone else has said, surveys in this forum deliver results that are about as far from representative of the *whole* player base as it's possible to be, simply because of the type of player who will sign up to a game's dedicated official forum, and the hoops you have to go through to register here.

Exactly, I saw a lot of people doing the main quest in Wrothgar yesterday, presumably after getting it from the login bonus. The players who didn't have it probably don't have forum accounts either.

Also, the poll counts eso+ subs, despite it not being proper ownership of the dlc. You still benefit from the unlock if at some point you don't want to or can't sub. I doubt the permanently subbed players are the majority.

Honestly best award was us playing dlc when it was in a better game's state, when vMA weapons were as much of a joke and were a symbol of something.

But to the point itself it's not the 10th anniversary reward, it's one of many and aimed to different audience.

Well, technically yes a few years ago. On PC I bought it and completed it. Then I had another PC account where I bought it but didn't go there much except for special events. So on Xbox I didn't buy it, so it's a welcome reward because now I can do it all again, meeting Eveli Shart-Arrow from when she was the most popular wood elf alive.

I answered incorrectly. If I'm playing ESO, I have ESO+ subbed. So I couldn't care about this DLC being given whatsoever.

I'm happy for those who don't have ESO+ regularly active and can now enjoy this zone though. Not going to complain that I deserve or need anything else for a log-in prize of all things.

Yap, which is why I felt a bit "meh" about that DLC as a reward.

It raises the question which DLC's should be made available as a reward. That is a difficult question to answer as everyone has their own preferences. Orsinium is almost the oldest DLC, after Imperial City.

Should modern DLC's like Firesong ever become a reward? Can you compare one to another? Well you can't really compare Orsinium and Summerset. Or Orsinium and Elsweyr. Since Orsinium is a smaller zone expansion.

I'm not certain this was a good decision. We shall see how it unfolds over time.

bought it 4 times after playing it with eso+, that I cancelled somewhen. On 4 logins.

Still not jealous on those who get it for free now.

I had some years time, to spread the purchases (and actually bought them with gold).

For someone new, it would be quite a challenge or expense to buy all the DLC that was released in all those years, so it would hit them harder to buy them.

There's been a few times they gave away a new DLC. Murkmire was a login reward the month it was released, and I'm pretty sure I got Fargrave and the Deadlands in some promotion or other.
