as many players in eso probably dont really want to participate in the controversy of class change discussions again, when do you think we will have a new class added to the roster to enjoy again ?

I mean if you want to be milked for new classes you can play RAID or, LoL, or Smite (idk if you casual, pve, or pvp) or any of the other dime-a-dozen soulless corporate money printers out there.

We are getting new skills this year, and that's plenty enough depth for us to work with for a while if it goes well.

It will be a LONG while before we see a new class, if ever, because they took three years to create Arcanist, and they had to do a LOT of tweaks to resources to even make it happen. The game engine is severely outdated, was outdated when the game launched, which means it's pretty close to being stressed to the max already. I am not expecting a new class added to ESO, we might be lucky to see a new weapon type, but I'm not expecting that either.

I think they will remain focused on adding new animations and styles to the game, or anything else that isn't resource demanding.

Hopefully never, the way they have made the new ones. Either they don't look like the class is portrayed in lore and game, like necromancer who got some cliche Halloween spoopy theme with scythes, graveyards magically popping up and whatnot, instead of being more gross and creepy. Or they make something like arcanist which is such a niche theme that also causes health issues for some people. Myself included.

I much prefer we get more and better skillines, that can be used on our existing characters.

I'd like a new class but, I think it could be a while or might never happen.

The new scribing system will likely make it far harder for classes to feel unique and it is already somewhat difficult to make classes that are unique yet also are balanced in PvP and PvE.

Hell no. I just finished the main quests and the undaunted level 9 for the 7th character.

Just fix templar and necro and we'll have two shiny classes to play.

I'd say Central Skyrim in 2025, maybe Hammerfell in 2026, and the rest of Elsweyr in 2027 with a monk class or Black Marsh with a shaman class or a new Daedric prince themed class or something. Gonna be at least 3 years imho. It would be nice to have an even number of classes. We don't know how scribing will affect things though.

Probably not until 2026 or 2027. They just released one in 2023 after 4 years since Necromancer release.

I would rather they fix current classes before they add another new one.

Necro and Templar could both use some adjusting.
