Arcanist teleport

This skill is so buggy and mess , ESPECIALLY in cyrodill u cant even cast it normally most of the times, please consider some rework , remove cooldown and add stacks like sorc streak or double the range of the skill because right now its one of the most unusefull skill in the game which have potential to be one of the coolest

    Used on trash setups in trials to keep momentum on speed runs / trifectas, that is the only use I've ever seen for it.

    The synergy morph passage between worlds seems particularly unusable. Without the major expedition buff giving you some exit velocity, you will constantly get stuck in the exit gate and be in teleport loop hell.

    Bahsei hm, can use it to help your group avoid being sucked into the portal. Very niche use though.

    There are ways to use it successfully in PvP, and I find it useful in all sort of PvE situations. I think the only thing with it that needs addressing is the cast-related glitchiness. It doesn't need to become SorcStreak 2.0, and it definitely doesn't need a range increase - especially not double which would put it at 44m - given 22m is the current top end benchmark for gap closers/extenders (and streak is only 15m).

    Instead of placing the portal manually it would probably be better to make the teleport itself function like streak for movement. I don't mean remove the cooldown, but if it functioned like streak and made a portal where you casted it and where you ended at its viability would increase massively. I'd rather not keep on trying to use the ability as it is in content because I commonly get "invalid location" notifications. The only problem I see with my idea though is that how I described it the portal you exit from could end up floating in the air. Maybe if the air portals only lasted as long as it took you to exit and only the ones that were anchored to the ground remain for the duration it could work for an interesting mechanic. Maybe the portals could spawn as something similar to a ball of lightning entity.

    I think the portal is fun, but I'll fully admit the reason I use it most is to drop a portal on a group member to troll them to take the synergy lol.

    Seriously though, there are some times it has its uses, but it's really situational. Especially since the portal range is relatively short and you have to look above the area you want to hope it goes in the right place.

    One thing that could really improve the portal is just to add a cooldown of like 0.1 seconds after teleporting though. There have been too many times that I drop a portal and teleport, but then am instantly sent right back through to where I started. Had a great instance of that when one of my guildies did a "Look what I can do!" in Earthen Root trying to use his portal to get behind the wall on the first boss, only to be trolled by the game and sent back instantly, catching him in the room wipe.

    It's REALLY funny how over hyped the arcanist teleport was, everyone was thinking it would be insanely op and break cyrodiil :D

    No its not useful in any PvEsituation at all, because the Expeditionbuff is shorter than the cooldown. There is literally zero reason to use the gate instead of Rapid Maneuver.

    Teleport has a lot of potential to be very fun. With that being said it has only really worked for me, at least in terms of PvP, in situations where a front door is very defended. I can just teleport past it.

    If the ability spawned faster it would be a fun spell to use to maneuver around people. Repositioning to maximize damage since Arcanist REALLY need people to be lined up to be effective.
