Skill Bars

I am aware that this subject has been brought up before. I'm bringing it up again because, honestly, this is really close to a deal-breaker with me and this game. I don't know if this is the right place to put this but no place seemed like the right place.

I am very unhappy about the 5 slot action bar we have. The skill trees are rather open and there is a lot of room for very unique builds. This was done on purpose. Then you contradict your own skill design by curbing the actual number of skills I can have on a bar.

Yes, it forces me to make a choice. And I have chosen to not put points I don't have room for because I don't have room for them anywhere. So at level 26 I have 5 points just sitting there collecting dust. Maybe I'll put them into something later (passives, etc). Was that the intent? I hope not.

And another thing. This one I just don't get at all. I can bind something to say the "z" key. Well why can't I bind anything to the CTRL+Z key? Or the ALT+Z key? I mean, come on. I have been doing that since UO in 1999, but in a game in 2014 I can't? Really?

Just because you can only use so many active abilities at a time doesn't mean you can't have more active abilities. You just need to swap them out situationally. Consider max leveling (including morphs) all of your active abilities as well.

I only have a couple actives that aren't max leveled, and those are in my current skill bar in the leveling slots. But I have many max leveled skills I'm not constantly using that I can slot in if I want them for a particular situation.

For example, I don't use the bow AOE ability in PvE because it takes too long to fire off during combat and is a weak opener from stealth. But in PvP it's a great way to grab AP by firing it into a zerg. So if/when I head into Cyrodiil I'll swap that (and some other actives) out on my bars for that specific circumstance.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.
