I have 155gb free on my SSD, tried to install PTS for Necrom but i got not enough disk space error. It used to be around 125gb iirc. What happened? How much do i need?
That is after the installation is complete. It requires way more than that for the first installment. But i don't even know when it just can't patch it with 155gb free space.
@ZOS_GinaBruno@ZOS_Kevin ESO website says you need 95gb disk space and Steam page says you need 85 gb, while in reality i can't install it even with 155gb free. An update on this pls?
I got my hard drive up to 195GB free and was able to install. I didnt check incrementally between 135 and 195 for those of you with storage issues, sorry. Tho OP couldnt w/ 155GB. so we know it's between 155 and 195.
But I can tell you as of January 2024, 195GB is enough free space for PTS.
Game takes around 100 GB of disk space, but because of the way the downloader & game patcher works, you will need 200 GB disk space. The game downloads files (around 100 GB) and then installs them (another 100 GB) and then removes the downloaded files, so DURING the installation you will need around 200 GB.
You need to have around 200GB I think for the download to actually start*
You can do something similar to what I do, I know there is a windows equivalent but I'm not sure of the exact name. Basically I made a dummy folder for PTS (I started the installer and stopped it right after just to get the correct path), and syslinked the actual PTS folder on my nvme to my PTS folder on my HDD, allowing me to install the PTS on a different drive and saving my nvme space meanwhile ESO thinks it's on my main drive.
But you have to have ~200GB of free space to start the download.
