I completely forgot about this city (Sutch) which was supposed to appear in ES4 Oblivion but was cut last minute before release. I was reviewing a UESP article on Skingrad in anticipation of the upcoming DLC when it mentioned Sutch. If we do indeed go back to the Gold Coast, I wonder if we are going to see what was supposed to be a thriving metropolis. Notably, UESP mentions there is a fair amount of activity related to Sutch during the Planemeld including visits by Jorunn in his youth.

Also, each city in Cyrodiil was dedicated to a divine except Kynareth. Sutch was apparently meant to hold a chapel to Kynareth. If they added that they could maybe add the chapel or a destroyed ruined version or something.Edited by HappyTheCamper on January 12, 2024 5:33PM3 -

✭Sutch might appear. I think the developers are aware of the wait about this city...
I am one of those who would like Sutch to be represented as he should have been originally in TES IV.
But I am aware that it is impossible.
In TES IV, Sutch would have had its own structures. And the city is a city, therefore large as a county capital.
In ESO however, each region only has one major city. The other towns are small. For an Imperial example, look at Gideon. (I will not mention Gold Coast because I consider that it is still part of the base game in its design).

jaekobcaed✭✭✭I wouldn't be upset if it doesn't appear but I hope it does, even if it's significantly smaller than Skingrad. There was a mod for Oblivion back in the day that added Sutch back into the game but for some reason, it just didn't feel right to me. Not as far as I can tell. I walked all along Sutch's northen wall in the Gold Coast and climbed to the top of the Colovian Revolt Forge Yard tower along it's western side to get the best view over the wall, but could not see Drad Estate, the Sutch Gatehouse or the town itself for that matter, just grass and rocks for now. @ThelerisTelvanni Sutch was supposed to be in TES4 but was cut because of restrictions and resources. If I remember correctly this is an unused map from that cut, which has ended up being used in mods that adds Sutch.Don't worrySutch WILL appear. I have seen it on PTS
