Which new zone/area would you want to go for the 2024 DLC?

Hammerfell. I don't care that TES VI is supposedly taking place there, do your own thing with it! Lets see the Khefrem region, the cities of Hegathe and Gilane, connect it up to both the Alik'r Desert and Hew's Bane. Or the Goldmoor region, if you don't want a desert landscape for your chapter, the city of Rihad, make sure to leave a gate connecting the zone up to the Colovian Estates when that releases. I guess you could also do central Hammerfell, with Taneth and Ska'vyn as the city hubs, link the zone up to Craglorn and Bangkorai.

But it seems as though they aren't doing Hammerfell any time soon, so the next best thing I'd like to see is the Colovian Estates for the next chapter zone. Or a Bosmer chapter with the Rictus Islands. Maybe a Skyrim chapter with Whiterun, but I'd rather see Winterhold. Thornmarsh could be a nice place to go, but having a Dunmer/Argonian chapter right after a Dunmer one might be a bit much.
So the Dark Elves have weird alien architecture, where people live in mushroom towers and the shell of a giant crab, but the High Elves, the pinnacle of technology, the most magically advanced race in Tamriel, are still stuck in slightly pretty, fairly tall stone buildings? Not even a hint of a glass city? Are stainless glass windows really enough to claim that a city is made of glass?

I'm happy with anything as long as it's well done for once, and not more Skyrim or Morrowind. Had a bit too much of that.

Bosmer and redguard are very lacking in some love, then followed by orcs and argonians. Imperials in a certain way got "content", but it's never really focused on them, not even Blackwood was, and they're either treated like decoration, bad guys, or morons. I'd love a Nibenay chapter that actually focuses on Nibenay and its people. I want to see that cultural split of Nibenese and Colovian. I want to see the so called soul of Cyrodiil, with gaudy looking Nibenese people, enjoying philosphy, magic, various views of religion and cults, mercantile, diplomacy and being cutthroat deviants at the same time. I want silk and rice farms. I want Mir Corrup to finally appear for the first time and be on the map, which should definitely be somewhere in Nibenay.

This goes for any province and culture they make a chapter in. I want ZOS to actually focus on the province and it's culture when making chapter. Putting love and care into portraying them well according to lore and filling out the stuff it already have with interesting things, not being afraid to get weird and fantastical. Making a deep dive into it. Not more samey and bland stuff where so much is just recolours and using the same or similar fauna and flora. Nor splitting it up with some massive daedra or world ending plot, making it mediocre at best.
I want a chapter about Bosmer/Valenwood, Hammerfell, Cyrodiil or whatever, to be really about it and its people and cultures.

Well orcs legit got the second DLC and first real zone expansion with Wrothgar. Can't really expand much beyond that since their native range is basically that and dotted throughout southern Skyrim.

As for new stuff everyone knows ZOS is holding off on Hammerfell because of TES6, but the problem with argonians is everyone HATED Murkmire to the point the DLC was given away as a monthly reward.

I think sometimed things are avoided because people might not like it but instead should really deep dive on it and focus on the really exciting and cool aspects of it and then some people will realise that they actually like it.

Agreed! I’m generally not a fan of orcs but there are a lot of orc characters in the game that are not the stereotype and Orsinium was a wonderful deep-dive showing different aspects of their culture and a clash between old and new with no side completely good or bad for most of the story as I recall.

I think many people may dislike Argonians because of how some are voiced, very nasally, although the hate they sometimes get is rather shocking to me. But those who are merely disinterested might be won over by a well-written chapter, especially a deep-dive, maybe exploring hold-outs that preserved aspects of the ancient cultures (really loved that concept introduced in Coldharbour and so wished we could have learned more there!). Such a chapter could be wonderful unique and alien, like exploring Morrowind for the first time!

More of Hammerfell would be my first choice followed by Colovia/Skingrad.

Akavir of course. It would be very interesting. This is huge potential B)

Yes Akavir is definitely my most wanted and excites me the most. I just didn't mention it because it doesn't seem like it's on the table but would definitely want it.

If you finished the Necrom, you might be excited about...
A long-hidden Daedric prince: Ithelia. She is the "Prince of Paths", "the Mistress of the Untraveled Road", "the Fate-Changed" and the "Unseen"...basically the god of "what could have been".

Along with Bal Sunnar introducing time travel, I think they are opening up the possibility of taking us to different eras and even alternate timelines.

Maybe we are going to get to go to the time of the Dwemer, or an alternate history where they survived.

Maybe even get them as a new playable race??

Or maybe there isn't going to be a new zone, and they're just going to stick bits of next year's storyline into existing zones. They're getting good a that.

I could see that, maybe more easily than a new area. I was picturing an off-the-map realm like Deadlands or Apocrypha, but they could have us go through a portal in a base-game location and suddenly you're there a thousand years ago.

Might even be smart on the programming end, essentially just a re-skin of existing graphics, along with a few crumbling ruins restored to their former glory.

With Solstheim as the main expansion, you could even have the southern most areas of Atmora as a potential part 2 of the story. Maybe an underground cave network that is somewhat sheltered from the surface. Perhaps some of the surviving Kamal fled north and regrouped, preparing to attack Solstheim. Throw in a story with Fryss Witch involvement and you’re good to go.

I want Falinesti first and foremost. After that, give me Eastern Hammerfell.

If we go to Pyandonea I will not settle for anything less than 4 full zones worth of area to explore, like the mainland AD zones Grahtwood, Greenshade, Malabal Tor and Reaper's March combined, in terms of size. It is a whole continent after all.

Yes! More Saxhleel content in the future, including a proper chapter including more assets from the Xanmeer era as we’ve got during The Reach DLC for the Dwemer!

I continue to see a lot of people hoping for Skingrad — what is of particular interest about it? Looking it up, it seems very much like many cities in the game. Is it to have more Imperial cities. Would it bring something to the game that Leyawiin did not? Or is it another reason entirely?

Nostalgia mostly. Skingrad in oblivion was like the bougiest city in TES4 Oblivion. It had a very rustic French feel to it and was ruled by a Vampire count that was a very complex and well written character, but most importantly however, most people remember it for a dark brotherhood quest which mirrored Agatha Christies And then there were none. In the quest youre locked in Summitmist manor to find a treasure but your goal as the asssasin is to kill off every other treasure hunter discreetly. Its well beloved and many consider it the best Elder Scrolls quest in any game.

Personally though, i'd love to see the house come back. In Oblivion the most expensive house in the game was Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad. Now we cant get the Oblivion Anvil House since its made into a bank in ESO, but if we got Skingrad back, id like to see the return of Rosethorn Hall as a buyable property or at the very least Summitmist Manor.

I want Winterhold to be the next chapter its the 10th anniversary of the game. An easy Skyrim nostalgia cash in and the perfect time to market an The Elder Scrolls Online "Remastered" or something. It just sad the game is in it best shape in years and so many people have given up on this game.
