Which new zone/area would you want to go for the 2024 DLC?

Much as Central/Eastern Murkmire and the rest of Hammerfell are overdue, I personally would love a huge Winterhold/The Pale DLC. Bethesda said they were unable to finish Winterhold in time for the skyrim launch which is why it is the way it is but i'd love to see what the place looked like back in its heyday.

i want to go to the islands south of Valenwood for a long overdue Bosmeri chapter :3
    and Falinesti

i also would really like to see Tenmar, Moonshadow, Evergloam, and more Nibenay.

    edited to add:
i just want that for a future chapter, i doubt any of it will happen for 2024.
Plokun from the Gates of Oblivion event quest mentions going to Sanguine's realms of Revelry.
and as Mel Adrys mentioned Necrom in the Dark Heart of Skyrim celebration the Sanguine mention is probably a hint for 2024.

if i recall correctly the nords, Vorm and Ysgild, from the Disquiet Study delve quest in Apocrypha also mentioned going to Sanguine's realms of Revelry, but they dont have uesp pages yet so i can't check easily.

I for one would absolutely do 17 backflips and get overly hyped for Winterhold & Solstheim. Id also love to see some more Wood Elf/Fallinesti-based stuff. While this stuff is VERY nice and VERY exciting, Im much much much more interested in what they are going to be adding to the game next year in each quarter - replayable gameplay systems, changes to monetization (pls for the love of god), anything like that that I will be able to play for the years to come.

Things I personally am burnt out on:
    - Anything vvardenfell or dunmer oriented
    - Crown crates (:P)

I also don't think we will get anything redguard-oriented at all prior to ES6 coming out. I definitely think the next 3 years are going to be composed of:
    - Winterhold & Solstheim
    - Skingrad
    - Fallinesti/wood elf stuff

We just don't know what order they'll come in. Between Winterhold/Solstheim & Skingrad, I think Winterhold & Solstheim are more likely based on datamined crown crates and stuff, but who knows! Im just excited for the 10 year anniversary and have big expectations even though I shouldn't.

Personally, I hope for Solstheim and Winterhold.

Hammerfell would be nice as well or central Elsweyr. Basically anywhere, besides Black Marsh... I can't stand argonians. At all.

I was just rambling to my friend on the phone about the lack of bosmer content and a desperate need for it(for me)

The island chains off the coasts of both valenwood and the summerset ones would be nice(I also want more Altmer content)

But the Rictus Chain and the Pearls would be awesome high isle archipelago style dlc.

I want falinesti but it's going to be set in some aedric/daedric/whatever rahjins realm is zone and I want a FULL bosmer zone.

Altmer have 1 Dlc. Bosmer have 0.
Redguard got hewsban and craglorn in part but could do with a dlc too.

No more dunmer please for the love of auri el no more dunmer I can't stand it. No more ash and mushrooms. Give me coral reefs and turquoise seas. Give me the deep green and ancient wood. Give me something elven and aetherial and beautiful.

With you all the way there. And I'm also with Cooperharley on no more Vvardenfell or Dunmer. But I do have to say @Kendaric, that while I don't like and won't play Argonians, I did quite enjoy the Blackwood quests involving them. I might not like a whole Chapter on them, though.

I hope we don't have to wait until TES VI releases for Redguard content. I'm already thinking I may not be able to play TES VI when it does show up - I'm not exactly young, and i already have age and reflex issues....

        my top places:

-any bosmer related place, for many reasons, especially new motifs and housing items
-the rest of Cyrodiil, West Weald and Nibenay Basin areas
-another Blackmarsh region, to get a good representation of the alien and dangerous stuff
-Winterhold, mostly because in Skyrim it was pathetic so I'd like to see it in a better way and it's the only Skyrim region I care about

Maybe move time forward 500-1000 years. Get a new main story up. Maybe bring back Mannimarco as the main villain, now infused with the daedric power of all princes we defeated. A overhaul of all the cities to match the new time period. Would be cool if the new trial was located in Cyrodiil, at Cloud Ruler Temple.

Each time I travel on the "Fair Winds" and see how the ship seems to "move" in front of the background I say to myself: Yeah, it's time for Falinesti.

Besides that I'm not unhappy with whatever is coming, as I'm interested in all the different cultures of Tamriel. Although I've to admit, that a good portion of Hammerfell or Black Marsh is long overdue.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

That's what I said in some other thread. The way the ship "moves" should be replicable for Falinesti....

I agree with alot of you guys, the Bosmer are overdue for some love. Problem is that ZOS did all the valenwood zones early and while a tropical jungle island is nice, they already did that in High Isle and Galen with the Druids.

So unless ZOS pulls one out of their ass and reorganizes the current zones, its gonna be a hard sell

mainland valenwood already having zones isn't a problem.

high isle just proves that it's possible for zos to use islands for chapters.
and i don't think it would be the same,
it's in a different area after all.

Falinestri would be great and the Redguards are due for one as well. I love Elsweyr, although that central area seems much too small for a chapter. I’d also enjoy learning more about the Argonians and their ancient culture(s).

I enjoy places that feel different than any other game or world, like Morrowind — so wonderfully alien! Humans, on the other hand, are generally boring and the pseudo medieval cultures interchangeable.

Pyandonea or Akavir could be fascinating!

Beyond Nirn, I’ve enjoyed Apocrypha and would be glad to see more of Evergloam and the Spiral Skein.

sorta is sorta isnt. Basically Bethesda gave ZOS the greenlight to make a far off archipelago and completely new lore for it. I mean you can only pull that trick off how many times before it breaks the lore.

but the valenwood islands have been in the world map of elder scrolls since the very start and have never been explored so unless Bethesda Softworks is putting valenwood in elder scrolls 6 i really doubt it would be a problem for zos to use the islands for the first time.
it was cut content for the base game so they were already allowed in the past.
and they're not a far off archipelago, they're islands a little off the coast.

My hope since TES V: Skyrim was to have The Hunting Grounds as a full realm I could explore. I appreciate Hunter's Glade and March of Sacrifices, but I'd love to see the realm be given a proper zone like Coldharbour, the Deadlands, and Apocrypha have.

Apart from that, I'd like to see Solstheim again. It was desolate in TES V: Skyrim, but it looked great in TES III: Morrowind.

Normally I would say Skyrim or Cyrodiil would be the safest bet to expand upon for ESO’s tenth anniversary, yet somehow it feels wrong…

This game needs a kickstart and I genuinely believe that we need something unique, a zone or two that bring us back to that feeling of stepping into Summerset for the first time.

That sense of exploration, tied with a new system that has longevity and truly changes the game for the better would be the perfect combo. Antiquities were close, as they had that level of excitement when finding a lead, then provided game altering effects, but the process to become proficient enough to get the important ones were such a dreadful experience.

I really believe Spellcrafting in a High Fantasy zone similar to Summerset would drive veterans to return, and attract new players at the same time, which is exactly what this game needs.

Falinesti actually could be a possibility, while it doesn't make a reappearance for another 500 years, we could be the catalyst that sets it in motion for it to return to Nirn. Instead of a chapter where we win with overwhelming power, we beat it through being clever, we trick the trickster and undo his magic over time.

When arriving there, the residence have no idea their city has vanished and act as if nothing has happened, you have to wake them up, unlock their memories, and make them realize they are trapped.

I just want to see them all its just the order that's to pick. I do want more Bosmer areas and Winterhold/Solstheim, the middle of Elsweyr but if I had to choose next would be Hammerfell and Northern Telvanni peninsula (if that's what it's called, the bit up top).
