Add PVP to the endless archives. I'm talking "invasions". Invading players that are trying to progress EA while being open to getting invaded yourself. Of course, there should be a deliberate opt in and a corresponding score incentive for choosing to.

    Concept:

-A level has a random chance of spawning a red-eye portal
-If you interact with this red eye portal, you get ported to a player that is on a higher level than you
-You fight it out and if you win as the aggressor you continue from that higher level with a big score pay off considering that there are now levels you aren't doing.
-If you win as the defender, you get half of the aggressors score added to your score.

    Anti-frustration measures:

-If you lose as the aggressor, your run is over. You have to start over. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
-If you lose as the defender, you just respawn on the same level. No consequence. Meaning, even people that don't want to PVP are incentivized to opt in just for the multiplier.
-Timer. Maximum of 5 or even only 3 minutes per invasion will prevent neverending stalemate fights that would ruin this concept. Loss goes to the aggressor in a stalemate

Fix cyro first before doing ANYTHING. No new systems no new BGs no new dueling nothing. There has been zero changes to cyro in a positive way in 5 years.

I agree, Cyro needs more love, but there have been some positive changes worth mentioning:
    • Server hardware refresh extremely improved performance for a while. It's still way better than before on PS EU.
    • We got Armory Stations in Cyrodiil.
    • At least some of the countless bugs and exploits were fixed (getting kicked from the game for using siege weapons; siege weapons did not despawn; endless load screens; teleporting to the other side of the map with the scroll; porting into an enemy keep from another campaign; the block bug; the negate bug...).
    • I can finally turn off auto aim (maybe just a problem for console players).

That's all i can think of right now. It's not much, but it's not "zero". Most of the positive things were unintended side effects and would have never happened just for Cyrodiil alone. But i am glad they happened anyway.

To be fair i should start a list with negative things, but it would be endless.

Awhile back, some friends and I were discussing an idea similar to your #2 for spicing Cyrodiil up: a new PVP incursion-level event in which a large oblivion portal appears in the courtyard of a random Emp-ring keep.

As in Harrowstorms, Geysers, etc., elite mobs emerge from the portal to attack the keep's guards/defenders. If the invasion goes unchecked by players, the alliance to whom the keep belongs loses control of it, with all the score and transitus implications that go along with that, and a vet trial boss (some kind of daedric overlord) emerges to claim the keep.

I’ve been wanting this in cyrodiil since New World was new. I kept thinking about how cool it would be in ESO to have waves of daedra and dremora attacking a keep with Daedric siege weapons.

Can we have BGs hosted in overland zones, that can interact with overland NPCs (but not non-BG players) and everyone can watch? They don't even need BG maps, just throw everyone into some random area where there are no objectives.

No pvp thanks. ESO should focus on pve and story.

pvp has endless replay value (so long there is a population) and it doesn't need new contents every season like pve does. Think of CS and similar games.
