Change the Client Installation Location

Hi All,

Sorry if posted elsewhere, cant seem to find a definitive answer.

I accidently installed the client onto my C: drive SSD that has hardly any space left, I've been lazy for a month and now I really need to move ESO to another drive.

Is there any easy way to do it without downloading the entire client again?

Thanks for any help.

All you need to do is copy-paste the whole installation folder to the new drive. Then modify the desktop shortcut to point to the new location.

After making sure that it works from the new location, delete original installation folder.
Early bird gets the worm, but second mouse gets the cheese.

I tried that with SWTOR and got a blue screen....best to re-install it imo.

Na, not always @Laced ... it works perfectly with most mmorpg's... ESO being one of them :)
The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...

    I still wouldn't recommend it.
