I honestly don't want to see location + story combos, that are inspired from Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and their story DLCs. Having something original in a previously unseen area of Nirn or Daedric realm is something that would really interest me (like High Isle).

Actually, every new part of Cyrodiil would be fine with me… apart from that, Solstheim. Loved it in the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind, and kinda liked it in that Skyrim expansion (can‘t remember the name)… minus what they did to Falx Carius. That was just nasty.

I'm happy with anything as long as it's well done for once, and not more Skyrim or Morrowind. Had a bit too much of that.

Bosmer and redguard are very lacking in some love, then followed by orcs and argonians. Imperials in a certain way got "content", but it's never really focused on them, not even Blackwood was, and they're either treated like decoration, bad guys, or morons. I'd love a Nibenay chapter that actually focuses on Nibenay and its people. I want to see that cultural split of Nibenese and Colovian. I want to see the so called soul of Cyrodiil, with gaudy looking Nibenese people, enjoying philosphy, magic, various views of religion and cults, mercantile, diplomacy and being cutthroat deviants at the same time. I want silk and rice farms. I want Mir Corrup to finally appear for the first time and be on the map, which should definitely be somewhere in Nibenay.

This goes for any province and culture they make a chapter in. I want ZOS to actually focus on the province and it's culture when making chapter. Putting love and care into portraying them well according to lore and filling out the stuff it already have with interesting things, not being afraid to get weird and fantastical. Making a deep dive into it. Not more samey and bland stuff where so much is just recolours and using the same or similar fauna and flora. Nor splitting it up with some massive daedra or world ending plot, making it mediocre at best.
I want a chapter about Bosmer/Valenwood, Hammerfell, Cyrodiil or whatever, to be really about it and its people and cultures.

County Skingrad, Winterhold or Whiterun. I don’t want to see Hammerfell until they can match it with TES VI. I don’t want to see something like High Isle until the mainland is filled out and even redone in some circumstances.

I want a story revolving around Divines and not Daedric Princes for once. Knights of the Eight type thing.

Well orcs legit got the second DLC and first real zone expansion with Wrothgar. Can't really expand much beyond that since their native range is basically that and dotted throughout southern Skyrim.

As for new stuff everyone knows ZOS is holding off on Hammerfell because of TES6, but the problem with argonians is everyone HATED Murkmire to the point the DLC was given away as a monthly reward.

Falinesti actually could be a possibility, while it doesn't make a reappearance for another 500 years, we could be the catalyst that sets it in motion for it to return to Nirn. Instead of a chapter where we win with overwhelming power, we beat it through being clever, we trick the trickster and undo his magic over time.

When arriving there, the residence have no idea their city has vanished and act as if nothing has happened, you have to wake them up, unlock their memories, and make them realize they are trapped.

I said in another thread, but they could do a sort of a 'Falenesti is in a different plane' type thing.

IE, Falenesti was sent do a plane of Oblivion (or somewhere we haven't even seen/heard of), and so the main 'zone' would be the city of falenesti and the 'underbrush' which would be more labyrinthian (to give the impression of a giant tree/jungle biome).

To make it less 'one note', there would be points in the quest where Falenesti would 'move' and the biome underneath the tree would be different.

Falenesti itself would also be multi-level, perhaps even with multiple towns/villages that you could explore as well as areas in between.

Alternatively, I would love to see a Winterhold/Island hopping type thing, where the main town is Winterhold/college, and you (as the vestige) would be sent to 'cut off islands' (such as solstheim and sheogorad, and the islands off Valenwood etc..) for some reason. The only way to reach them would be portal/wayshrines, and each one could have unique biomes.

I have to say, where I don't want to go has become almost as important to me after this year.
        That is:
NO Nord lands - I didn't even find them interesting in Skyrim, it was the TES game I liked the least, by far. And they were just as boring in ESO Skyrim.
NO Dunmer lands - TES: Morrowind was an epic experience back in the day, but that was because it was so big, and new, and different to things known. I played an Imperial, I never warmed up to any Dunmer culture, and I knew all I wanted to know about them after the single player game. Since then I did Morrowind again (at least the main quest was nice), and now we have Telvanni peninsula, and it has been far more than enough for me.
No Bosmer lands - This one is completely on me. While I think the Nords were always just plain bland, and the Dunmer have been done to death, the wood elves, while surely somewhat original as a culture, just aren't my cup of tea at all. I spent most of my base game quests about them rolling my eyes and shaking my head, because their whole culture is just so... Well, it's usually just annoying to me.
NO (!) Daedric realms: I didn't want to see even one of them. (Didn't even buy the Shivering Isles for Oblivion.) ESO already wasted 2 DLCs on them. And while Coldharbour as part of the main quest line was kind of a necessary evil, it still is awful as a zone, saved only by being just a small part of a story that had been leading through all the base game zones.
I'd make an exception, and gladly buy a DLC to visit the Coloured Rooms, beat up Meridia, and get back Darien. But that's not because I'm interested in visiting the place...

Where I'd love to go is any non-PvP Cyrodiil (as long as it's south of the Jerall mountains and Bruma). So, either an alternate Cyrodiil zone that is done like the other chapters, or the few parts of it that haven't been wasted as a PvP-map. This time with actual stories about Imperials/their culture. (meaning: unlike most of Blackwood)
If it can't be that, well, I'm quite open to where the road leads. As long as the stories are told well, the people interesting, and the above avoided. ;-)

        There's a few things I'm hoping for:
        • First and foremost, Colovia. Skingrad and the neighboring West Weald were one of my favorite areas in TES 4. It'd be nice to see that here, maybe even with a throwback to the Knights of the Nine.
        • Next, I'd like to see more of the Redguards. They have some really cool lore and it'd be nice to see it expanded. I'm not expecting this though, because of TES6.
        • Relunctantly, I'd be happy to see more Nord areas. While I'm a little Norded-out, there's some awesome areas like Solstheim and Whiterun.
        • Lastly, some more Daedric realms would be neat. Moonshadow, the Spiral Skein, the Colored Rooms, and Quagmire all sound like potentially interesting planes to visit.

I'll embrace whatever's next though, as always.

We have no proof they're holding off on Hammerfell because of TES6, we don't even have conformation what TES6 is. They didn't hold off on having Skyrim in ESO, despite Skyrim started its development after ESO's started, so why should they hold off Hammerfell? We already have parts of Hammerfell.

In the argonians' case, it's their speech pattern and their voices. I actually dislike pretty much any anthromorphic race (with the notable exception of the Khajiit in ESO and only here. I disliked them in every other TES game so far).

I wanted to hate Murkmire. I'm generally not a fan of the swampy areas, but I was so wrong. I love Murkmire now. The story was so good, like so many of the smaller DLC zones, and I think it has one of the best soundtracks in the game. BRP's cool too.

They weird me out a little, but I do appreciate their lore. The Hist, the zen-like interpretation of Sithis, the Mezoamerican influenced architecture - all of it is really intriguing. It's not immediately attractive to me like High Isle or Summerset, but there is a certain appeal to them and their zones when the mood is right.

I really want to see Winterhold before the great collapse, i feel like the version we see in single player skyrim is just a shadow of the magical power that it once held. I'd also like to see Whiterun, I feel like the Eso team could do an amazing job of all the different districts of that city. So, yeah, more Skyrim!

          Solstheim is close behind that.
