Those were my first ingame words in a tell to someone at 6:45 am on March 30.

Thanks for ruining that. Now I [snip] hate urns trunks and the rest of that crap.

Revert this stupid change.

I'm not sure, but it seems all I get are lockpicks, grapes, wheat, and potatoes. I haven't gotten a single motif in a while from the usual containers and recipes seem rarer as well.

Good? Motifs = rare. The way it was intended to be.

Staff Sergeant William James: [Speaking to his son] You love playing with that. You love playing with all your stuffed animals. You love your Mommy, your Daddy. You love your pajamas. You love everything, don't ya? Yea.

But you know what, buddy? As you get older... some of the things you love might not seem so special anymore. Like your Jack-in-a-Box. Maybe you'll realize it's just a piece of tin and a stuffed animal. And the older you get, the fewer things you really love. And by the time you get to my age, maybe it's only one or two things.

With me, I think it's one.
@d0e1ow: There is no singular thing within a game's little ecosystem that will convince you that you hate the game, hate your life, and hate everyone around you faster than the game's official forums will.

@TaffyIX: Life is too short to get upset by a video game.

I don't know if rare is the right word for the current drop rate, maybe legendary? If Zenimax wants to make them rarer to increase the economy, that's fine, but now it seems is all I loot is lockpicks, lockpicks, lockpicks. Lockpicks are more common than potatoes.

Wait until you are in the Veteran zone and you realize than every locker, crate, urne etc is either empty or filled with low level stuff. zenimax *** it up one more time.

Not good. The golsellers somehow (probably through item duping) have unlimited supplies of motifs which means anyone wanting them is forced to buy for real money off the goldsellers. Is this what ZOS wants to happen?

The smarter move would be to make motifs (and recipes) common as hell so everyone who wants them just gets them, and nobody can sell them for ingame gold nor real money, and people also won't feel the need to log in and out of the server trying to profit off the RNG either.

I am tempted to use gold sellers for the first time in my entire flipping gaming career directly because of this issue.

Thanks for that ZOS :( I guess that means the bots have officially won then right?

They haven't won, Zenimax is waging a fine war against them, as evident through the bot's zone spam being reduced to indecipherable gibberish. Though I do wish they'd be more heavy handed with obvious bots instead of having it affect real players as much. I am anticipating a massive bot nuke incoming, but we'll see.

I wonder if the container issue is more of Zenimax not accurately judging the amount of items that were going to be gleaned once players realized the system, and they felt they had to slow it down. I'm okay with that, but I'm not okay with lockpicks, lockpicks, lockpicks. I already have 100 and I'm too good with tumblers to actually break any. Zenimax hasn't given an official announcement for why the drop rates have been changed, so we don't know for sure if it's due to bots, even if that seems like the most sensible theory.
