When PC got U40 I seem to remember there being a Zos employee keeping us posted, but it's past 5pm and there's no update

Hrolthar✭✭✭It probably will be extended. I think last time they changed it by a couple of hours, so maybe extended to 8pm UTC1

AnonomissX✭✭✭✭25 minutes later...Ebonheart Pact, Nord Templar/healer on NA Xbox server. My main toon WAS a tall and foxy redhead - now she has been gamma-irradiated and has green skin and black hair. 3 other characters I only use for writs. Can't be bothered to create multiple toons - EXCEPT now my WW is getting spooled up for Cyrodiil - Blood For The Pact! IRL cranky sometimes redhead chick at large in Las Vegas, NV0 -

Auberon1983✭✭✭I wouldn't be terribly shocked if it isn't extended by at least a couple hours. It's a huge update, and those tend to run over fairly frequently.
However, as was said, a little communication wouldn't go amiss.0 -

I get to pick him up at 4:30pm EST and it’s a 2 ½ drive to him. Wuduwasa13✭✭✭Honestly, how difficult is it for someone to login and post up ‘update 40 maintenance overrunning’ along with an estimate on completion time & then periodic updates when there are any new developments or if it looks like it’s going to overrun the estimate. Big updates are always on Tuesday (UTC), Trader Flip is always Tuesday.
I have no idea why they don't move Trader Flip to Monday or Friday (Thursdays events start, Wednesdays are standard maintenance days).She/They

Previously the eso server status dot net site shows if maintenance has been extended, and usually within a few minutes either side of posted due time.
But nothing today after >1 hour.
Likewise eerie silence to the above posts here, and in the Txittersphere too.
Please improve communication
