Does resetting skill points cancel research?

If I reset my skill points I would assume it resets the skill points spent on the research passives for crafting. What happens to existing research jobs if I reset skill points? I would hate to lose 6+ days worth of research on a trait from resetting skills...

Beryl✭✭✭No, you don't lose your research. It will keep going as planned.
It may happen that the duration of your ongoing research will increase until you spend your points on the corresponding trait, but that's it. For example, if you have 3 items being researched at once in Clothing - all these 3 jobs will be continued (I tried that). Another example, if you had 1 item under research with 5% time reduction and then you respent your points to have 20% time reduction, your total research time will be reduced and you may even finish research immediately (I tried that as well).0 -

✭Nope. I've done it. My Wykkyd progress bar still showed my crafts researching after I refunded all skill points. After I placed the skill points back into crafting passives, the researching continued and eventually finished as if nothing happened. To be safe, you probably shouldn't let the timer on the researching run out without having put the skills back into that craft line.0 -
