Talked to a group of friends I played this game with about coming back and playing again. The unanimous decision to not come back to ESO was they've moved on to PC gaming and do not want to re-purchase PS+ to play casually. They also did not want to re-start their characters by making a new account on PC (mainly mount training / research).
Would there ever be an opportunity to transfer to PC from console?

At console launch, there was a one time chance to transfer from pc to console. There has never been a chance to go the other direction, especially since the transfer basically copied most of the character database into empty console databases.4 -

It was the other way around. You could transfer from PC to Console. There has never been a transfer from Console to PC0 -

✭✭✭✭✭There are no transfers possible between platforms, or between servers on the same platform. PC databases on EU and NA servers have to be copied to the PTS server separately, with the server wiped between each server being copied across. ZOS have always said they don't have the necessary facility to make transfers to populated servers and have no plans to create such a facility.
So far as transferring between platforms is concerned, there may also be contractual restrictions relating to one platform provider "poaching" customers from another one.Edited by Tandor on October 9, 2023 6:11PM2 -
