This is the official feedback thread for the Gates of Oblivion Celebration. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
  • How do you feel about the distribution of rewards during this event?
  • Do you have any other general feedback?

    Patch Notes say:
    The first zone box each day (from either zone you decide to do first) coming from delve or world boss dailies is a Glorious quality box with higher drop chances of the good stuff.

    Today I got a Glorious quality box from a cloth node in The Deadlands. That was my first zone box for the day.

    I then completed my first delve daily and received only a purple box when I handed in the quest.

    This may be a silly question, but when is this event going to be? It's Secrets of the Telvanni next, right? Or do I have my wires crossed?

    EDIT: I know we don't get specific dates until closer to the event but even a rough estimate would be appreciated! :smile:

    This is the PTS forum, so they're testing events that will happen far in the future. The Blackwood event can't happen until the patch releases on all consoles because the rewards are not even programmed into the live servers yet. That means that this event will be in November.

    Based on the historical "last event before New Life" timeframe, I expect this to be Nov 16-28.

    The next live event will be the Telvanni community event, which should be starting on the 28th, assuming standard cadence.

    Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure how the timeframe translated from PTS to live.

    The big question is will we see an increased influx of Deadlands treasure maps after the event. This was super nice after the Dark Heart of Skyrim anniversary when we saw an increase of Reach treasure maps, making getting the Ancestral Reach motif leads much more friendly. I’d love to see this happen to Ancient Daedric pages.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno this is about the Whitestrakes event that is on PTS now, but there isn't a feedback thread for that one so here it goes - please, please, please, pass along to the dev team that the Pelinal’s Boon Boxes should be loaded up with Columbine, the price is currently insane, and PVPers are desperate for more sources of it. Dropping boatloads of it from the Pelinal’s Boon Boxes would help stabilize the market (at least in the short term) and would be an extremely welcome reward adjustment that would very much engender positive response from a community that typically has a quite negative view of ZOS.
