Does the Jewelry Crafting Rebalance apply to pre-Update jewelry?

Maybe this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

Does this rebalance only apply to jewelry that has been collected after the Update or does it also apply to jewelry that has been collected before the patch?

    impacts jewelry crafting mats collected before the patch.

    decon jewelry after the patch will drop platings not grains. whether that jewelry existed before or after the patch does not matter.

    You’re going to need to spend 8 to turn a purple to gold, regardless whether the jewelry is from before the update.

    All jewelry will adhere to this new conversion rate.

    The rebalance does not have any effect on jewelry pieces. It only affects the mats used to upgrade jewelry.
