Cannot Claim Crown Gift Received Yesterday

Due to the ongoing fraudulent issues with crown gifting, the disabling of gifting means I cannot claim a gift I received yesterday but only got around to opening today. This is on PCNA. I do not believe this was intentional as claiming and gifting are two separate actions, right? Any help would be great, ZoS. Thanks.

Aka_✭✭✭✭✭Update: According to other players, we can't even decline the gifts we received so that we can get rid of the pop-up notification that shows up every time we move to a different zone.1

Today i recognized the gifts are going to expire and i can't claim it!1 -
