nope, as far as im aware thats never been a thing in this game, the only chat that is blocked in pvp areas from other factions is like /zone, /yell, /say
really only the area chats, but they never blocked whispers
and no, i dont think it should be blocked, that would be horrible, how would you message a friend who is in cyro if you are different faction, regardless of where you are? why would you want to block messaging friends too with the sweeping suggestion because theres a lot of salty people in pvp?
people should stop trying to ruin things for everyone, i know it doesnt help with bad apples in the bunch, but people who make these suggestions without considering the consequences of how it would affect anyone else are just as bad
i just ignore (as in dont respond to) salty whispers like these, and if they keep messaging you constantly, report them for harassmentplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
feel free to stop by and use the facilities1 -

I never said block messages regardless of where you are. I said disable cross faction whispers in PvP areas. Enemies are not supposed to be able to communicate while in active battle.PCNA1 -
