Billing Date Changed -5freedays

Ok so i was reading this thread.
http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/94121/zos-sub-payment-schedule-changed-not-kool-zos#latest

Which was locked on request.

I went and checked my account Billing Date details.
And i checked the 2 emails i received about the 5 free days.

Nowhere in the 2 emails does it say it will adjust my subscription Billing Date to suit the changes, which i thought when handling a transaction, this kind of thing would be said atleast once within 2 emails, pretty weird that it doesn't.
If that person did not post his thread, i might never have known.

I'm also curious about this:
billingdate1_zps478f52de.jpg

QUESTIONS:
  • Will i be unable to play on that 1 day before my sub kicks in?
  • Are the days remaining displayed counting 1 day ahead or behind?

Because.. 7+4 = 11.. the 11th.
And my Sub kicks in on the 12th.

Im not suffering from the payment problem in the thread i linked above, so the payment is no issue, but i am curious about the Billing Date now.
Maybe the account page website isn't detecting my country settings, idk.
I hope this is a display problem that can be fixed by having it detect the players country settings that were entered, and i hope in future that if granted Free Game Time, the emails atleast tell you that the Billing Date is Changed or Unchanged, and show the changes with the digit values, not like the patch notes that instead use words like "significant" instead of real information.

I am interested in finding out the answers to my questions above.

This is not an angry post, im genuinely interested in the answers to my questions.

it would be 4 days xx hours because you're partway through a day.

so 5 days minus x hours played that day.

I assume it would just say "0 days of game time remaining"
    And just leave me hanging.
or "final day of game time remaining"

I guess it doesn't matter with the need for a subscription.
But for a game card or something..

i bought wow in feb and when i checked my account i only had 27 days of game time remaining, subscription billing date on the 29th day.

    same thing.

rest assured that you will get billed when your subscription ends.

At least you're not dealing with blizzard who gives you 28 days of the "30 days free game time" because its February.

    Aha..
We'll have to wait and see if that happens, it's only been the first month, so idk.

That is pretty much why im asking, because i was unsure.
I don't want to have to contact CS over this, if it does boil down to a problem.

...your billing starts the first time they bill you. They added 5 days of free game time to everyone, giving you 35 free days instead of 30. It makes sense that they will start to bill you when that runs out, and it will start a new billing cycle then.

    We shall see.

No-one seems to care that they didn't get the update in the email about the Billing Date changed.

Of course the billing date changed. They were going to bill you as soon as the 30 days were up. They gave you 5 free days. Thus, they bill you 5 days later.

I don't understand why people are having trouble with this. Some of it sounds like people complaining they were given something extra for free.

It didn't bother me about the change in billing date as i expected it. I just adjusted my finances to that change.

    This!

    @OP: too much over-thinking.

My original first payment date was 5th May, now it's the 10th, FIVE FREE DAYS. It's no more complicated than that!

I don't understand the preoccupation with billing date and finances anyway. If you have enough money to pay for something, you'll have enough money to pay for it 5 days later. Sure, for people that are really tight on money, having a bill come *early* can really mess them up. But late? If you *really* can't hang onto $14.99 for 5 days, hide it in your couch or something.

I am not currently in a position where I'm living paycheck to paycheck. But I have been there before, and I would've been grateful to get 5 free days and delay my bill by 5 days if I still were.

How about you get lost. You are posting useless dribble. Your post was useless in the other topic also. All my post means is I will put the money on my credit card later as I load my credit card when I need it as it is a pre pay one. I don't like leaving money on it.
