Do motifs drop from Cyrodiil treasure maps too?

Has anyone found any motifs in the cyrodiil treasure maps found from treasure maps? I have done 20 so far with no luck.
The details released have not been very specific.

I opened up two more chests today with no motif. Still just looking to confirm they drop in cyrodiil treasure chests

Don't think it applies to treasure map chests, just the random chests

Will the new motifs drop in treasure chests from treasure maps in cyrodiil or strictly the chests that spawn there?

I farmed Imperial City treasure chests. Out of 23 chests, I received 7 motifs. This gives a drop rate of roughly 30%.

HOWEVER,

It appears you are only able to find motifs in your alliance style. So if your character is AD, you will only be able to find AD motifs. I do not like this.

I wouldn't mind as long as my guy can learn all three. .

Yea that doesn't make a whole lot of sense imo... If you can't pick up the other two alliances, don't have another alliance character, you'd basically have to find a trade guild that is cross alliance to get one. Not great.

I got Dominion Legs out of the first chest I opened in Cyrodiil -- normal treasure chest, overworld, rather than treasure map.

if I got a costumer on an another alliance, will it automatically translate to their alliance style when they receive it or what's up?

Out of the first 4 chests in IC I found 3 Covenant motifs. My loot chance seems to have greatly diminished because I haven't found any more

That would be a huge bummer if Cyro Treasure Maps didn't drop the motif. Treasure Maps need all the help they can get.

Just tried out some normal chests. Pact toon. 16 chests, 4 Pact pages. It seemed that Intermediate ones were more likely to drop it, but I definitely got at least one from a simple chest.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the other alliance motifs in their respective parts of the sewers?

I know this is old, but since no one ever bothered to answer this, I figured I will just in case Google directs anyone else to this thread, as it did me.

The answer is definitely yes. I got a ton of Cyro maps from the recent Zeal of Zenithar event, and I got Ebonheart motifs out of many of them. I also got some Ebonheart motifs from random chests I found along the way.
