Hide Bracer Please

As an equal member of the gaming ESO community I am tired of the 'muckle' (yes it's a Scottish expression which means MINGING, BOGGING or just PURE DEAD NO) bracer options. Something with a little more finesse please or allow us to just hide the mechano arm graphics? I get it looks good on a heavy armor machine tank build I am Rambo meets the Terminator v's Predator style but a little something for those of us who are just nah ah with all that? Seriously though, we have hide helmets and hide shoulder, for me the next step is hide bracer then after that ELIMINATE THE HIP GUARDS - EXTERMINATE THE HIP GUARDS!

Along side with hiding side, back, and front flaps on pants there should also be this option.

In the armor slots there should be a small check box in the lower left corner for each armor piece. Uncheck the box then that piece will be hidden. Check the box and it will be visible. That same will go for costumes.

honor guard , imperial, grim harlequin , and prophet gloves a few others are just fingerless gloves if u need gloves that aren't giant metal gauntlets

I can add that Sunspire light bracers are just bracelets, light Mazzatun are just wristbands (although they make wrists swelled up on some characters), and light Pyandonean is also just wrist bracelets.

All good options but perhaps I should have said, "hide the element from chest and leg pieces that give you a built in bracer/lower leg graphic please" instead.

For example take the Fang Lair motif. It has these blocky bracers built into the chest piece so that when I do try to use Mazzatun, Pyandonean, Prisoner, Celestial etc on the bracers, it is over shadowed by the blocky muckle built in bracer element from the chest piece.

There are also many other chest pieces that do this. And many of the leg pieces, particularly where they are in a shorter skirt style, seem to come with some kind of lower leg effect, which means that I cannot use motifs like Order of the Hour, Mazzatun or Prisoner on the feet to get a sandal effect without having some weird looking leg warmer/knee length sock effect.

I ask this as it covers up body markings which are often shown on the lower arms and legs, which then puts me off buying them as you can never see them unless all your characters are running around in Graht-Climber's Active Wear or Nordic Bather's Towel outfits.

As for the hip guards...

oh i agree i also want a way to hide those arm and leg things from chest and leg styles
and hip stuff and loincloths

i just thought u wanted less heavy gloves and a way to hide gloves

Very much agree. There should be an option to hide the built-in bracers from certain chest pieces as well as the built-in "socks" that come with some leg pieces. In fact, if I recall, there are some rare chest pieces that may even add "socks". Gah!

Yeah, those socks are a pet peeve of mine. So many good skirts ruined by them.

Asking that part of an armor piece be removed is basically asking for a new armor design. So what you are asking for is the ability to change an armor piece to a different armor piece by way of a toggle. An introduction of a whole new system to the game.
I'm all for more aesthetic options for armor but once available they should be equipped using the system already in place.

While its not a hide bracers option, you can get a similar effect to it using the prisoner's chain outfit style you get at level 40. It practically acts like bracelets, and was how I learned that the sapiarch chest styles have nice looking, long sleeves.
