''Abyssal Impact'' Stamina Morph, is not an execute skill? (Sheer Venom Set)

Hello, I was looking forward to using the ''Sheer Venom'' set in a build for trash mobs farm, but the ''Sheer Venom'' set does not work with the skill, even though the skill has an inherent effect of a execute skills, as shown in the picture...is it a bug? or really this set cannot work in this skill?

    Honestly this skill is so insanely overloaded that instead they should remove the execute scaling, or the healing from it.

    Or both.

    I don't think the skill is so powerful, it has the same damage as a spammable skill have cast time, in the case of the image I'm using the build editor, putting my farm trash mob build (Full Full Weapon Damage) with all the buffs, that anywhere else, be it in pvp, or even pve, it's unsustainable, it only works for mob farms...

    Removing heal, arcanist have no heal to sustain in solo contends, and execute is fine, but no overpowered like others executes... My Templar hit 20k - 50k on Jesus Beam every hit... 3 hits per skill use, and 20% heal every tick... No compare, sorry...

    What? Are you serious right now? Compare it to the nightblade execute or two hander execute. This hits way harder than those.

    Yes, I'm serious, I advise you to enter the PTS and test it for yourself, but the theme of the topic is not "which execute has greater damage", because that doesn't even interest me, because from what I saw the skill is not even considered an execute, I don't care if they nerf the skill, I just wanted the skill to be considered an execute by the game, which is not happening, because the "sheer venom" set does not apply its effect...

    I think it's a bug. And was mentioned months ago.

    That being said sheer venom seems to work best with poison injection.

    I don’t see Flail as an execute. In my opinion the tentacle ability, no matter the morph, is used for one of two reasons, or maybe both:

    1. As a melee spammable. Arcanist seems to have two spammable options, range and melee, not bad.
    2. Using the immobilization part of the ability to better set up and aim Fatecarver better.

    Nightblade execute? One of the two strongest executes in the game? Sure, I mean you have a point with the magicka one, but the stamina one is so strong. And the two-hander execute does more damage, but it's still a worse skill.

    The flail is fine. It hits hard for a multi-target spammable... But it's still less damage than the current Jabs which hits like a wet sock. The flail just has better reach and builds crux so you can use the spammable you actually want to use as an Arcanist.

    It doesn't need the execute, since it heals and builds crux and is an AOE spammable. But the increase is super miniscule that it's only worth spamming over a 3 crux beam if a boss is under 10% health, and even then it's debatable if it's better than beam (i'd argue it's comparable).

    Fact of the matter, Arcanist is fine as a DPS. The reason people are able to do high dps with it is because unlike many other classes, its skill requirement to do that top-end dps is really low. You can do top end damage by getting a mythic and getting deadly + pillars, so you don't even need to do a trial. It feels overtuned because people can perform the PVE dps without the long practice hours it takes to learn Nightblade for example. Its DPS is actually lower than most top end class builds for other classes, and THEN it gets lower the moment you get stunned while beaming. It's just easier to play.
    Tanking/Healing/Support is pretty overtuned though.


    Also, to address the title. It's probably a bug and should be reported as one.
