Anyone having the issue of "Too many searches in Rapid Succession?"
I cant even sort by date, and then sort by another unless I wait 5 seconds in between doing so.

AlliN✭✭✭5 years was not enough to code databese search. It's just impossible. Give them time, maybe next year. Checkign other mmo's on "what do others have that might be useful" was out of the question.
Next step, MMO's from IKEA, code, troubleshoot and compile it yourself.
And yes, I can code a databese search engine, as probably anyone who even brushed any type of databese programming. My guess they left it out to lower stress on the server.1 -

moxsapphire_ESO✭✭✭It's a simple and remedial programming error. Here is the workaround.
The problem is you want to sort by ASC or DESC.
They put a limiter on your query input to prevent rapid successive queries. The problem is, their design is flawed because a sort is viewed as a new search, and the results are not cached and reused. Thus, you are "performing rapid queries", because of a programming and architecture deficiency in their client and server.
So what you do, if you wish to sort, is, put all of the parameters in for your search, but DO NOT PRESS SEARCH.
Press the ARROW BUTTON of the column you wish to sort by.
That will perform the search for you, and sort in the desired fashion.0 -
