I found some text errors about the XP bonus. This bonus has now been changed to a "passive" one, meaning you don't need to do anything to get it for the full duration of the Witchfest. No quest, no whistle blowing, no "joining the fest" is required.
But, when you complete Witchmother Olyve's quest the following message still appears:
There's a similar error in the text on the Announcements screen for the Witches Festival.

✭I like the change to a passive bonus, but does it mean that we won't be able to use the whistle at all anymore? i haven't tested the event itself yet, I was far too busy walking through the streets of various streets in Tamriel and gauge starry-eyes at the new decorations.
You have NO idea how happy I am that my prayers regarding this have been answered. The blue tent by itself was the most soulless demonstration of an ingame festivity I had ever seen in an mmo.
Am absolutely in love with all the new decorations and I hope the other festivities will receive a similar treatment!2 -

i dont see why you couldnt use the whistle as that could still be used to do that temporary skeleton change during the event, i would use the skeleton change as a more visual way to tell when my xp buff ran out before the current change (since both lasted 2 hours)plays PC/NA

Kelinmiriel✭✭✭✭✭I'm really enjoying the new random encounted NPCs I've run into! Wish they'd still be willing to talk to me again after I talk to them once, in case I miss something the first time. I've only found one spot where they appear, but I've found three separate sets of them there.
It's a really nice feature to have the double xp buff on all the time as a passive! It's going to confuse people at first - I know it confused me. I have a couple of questions about it, though.
1. Why was that not mentioned in the Patch Notes? (edited) Sorry, missed that it was in earlier patch notes.

flizomica✭✭✭✭✭My feedback about some of the new collectibles:- The crow style is awesome - very spooky and it reminds me of the icreach coven style, which is one of my favorites.
- The ghost netch pet is illegally adorable.
- The ursauk mount missed the mark for me. I like that mount model, but the crisp blue and white recoloring of the saddle and armor completely clash with the earthy tones of the mount IMO.
For reference, here is the druid bound ursauk which uses the same model:
