✭✭✭✭✭That's not a softlock. It just means you mistyped your password.
For some reason, you get the same message for "your password is wrong" as you do for "this is a new IP address." The only difference is that you don't get an email.
If you ever see that popup and you know you haven't changed PCs, just retry right away.2 -

Thank you, I just noticed I put an @ before my name when I typed it in. It really should have said "account not found" instead of pretending an account existed...3 -
