I hate to upset the PvP players, but this seems to always be a natural consequence of PvP and meanwhile PvE gradually gets shot to hell. I don't find the PvE game too easy, as some do, and I dread the day when I come into the game and none of my characters are viable because the PvP people demanded everything be nerfed to Oblivion.

My personal theory is that PvP needs to be completely sandboxed w.r.t. skills - you want to nerf everything, fine, but make the nerfs ONLY affect the PvP version of the skill. Totally separate universe where they can all beat each other with rocks and sticks as much as they like.

Again, not hating on PvP per se - you like PvP, that's valid, have fun. Just pointing out that "what's good for PvP" and "what's good for PvE" are almost always mutually exclusive.
I have just told you more than I know.

Bolt escape is fine Please stop bloody whinging and the vamp reductions have made them worthless yes Not a sorc issue. Dk vamps were just as bad. DK is the best class by far with its burst etc. Sorc is a casting class which needs an escape. Cry me a river please. You imbeciles which ruin the game crying abilities are too powerful. Right now at times you can barely tell what kills you.

It's sad but I expect the whiners will get their way - a game where all classes and skill lines are exactly the same, and every combat is identical and takes 10 minutes of boring anti-fun skill spamming.

Once the constant nerfs start, they never stop until all classes are homogeneous and boring.

Precisely. Once you get started on the vicious cycle of unnecessary nerfs and "fixes" to appease this class or that class, it's over.

They nerfed the vampires and didn't fix a single thing in the passive skill tree because of a few people complaining about pvp, so they ruined it for pve.

They next class that people complain about being OP is the sorcerer. Get ready sorc's, the nerf hammer is coming.

And after that, guess what? They're coming for you.

NB will be the last one. Gladly I wont experience the NB nerf, whatever it will be. I'm done in 2 days guys, 2 days :p

This game still has lots of potential. I'm not gonna hold my breath but I hope that ZoS sees the error of their ways and hopefully turn it around. They still have time to save this game. The question is, how many customers do they have to lose in order to admit that they are going down the wrong path.

Only time will tell. We shall see . . .

    Slam sorcerers, too.

Them, and their cheating little cheatings. With their long gowns, sandals and wooden sticks. Always bringing people to their knees with their overpowered masteries.

    I'm stormed, I'm disintegrated, I'm bolted, I'm splashed, I'm encased, I'm exploited, I'm dead.

    Sick of it.

Can we all just agree that having Vamp players outnumbering non-Vamp players 3:1 in PvP suggests maybe Something about Vamps needed to be fixed?
I personally dont think i should have to build my PvP character around killing Vamps and "maybe killing other players too"

I'm sure that if WereWolf was outnumbering non-WW 3:1 they would Balance (not nerf) it too.

If people complain that DK's are tanking, Sorcs are dealing lots of damage, Templars are healing, and Nightblades are ganking, then they should just not play PvP

And on the "Vamps can take on 20+ players solo" argument... Yes I think that was an issue, not because 1 player shouldn't be able to kill 20, but because 1 player killing 20 should require skill, planning, and good execution, not spamming 1-2 moves and running away if it doesn't work out

Sadly judging by the many people in this thread who are just going down a list of abilities going "Wahhh nerf nerf nerf" I don't think there's much hope.

A real shame too because ESO was a great game.

Yet another really good game screwed up by overzealously nerfing stuff into the ground.

Almost makes me wonder: who did they hire from Nexon?

No one is arguing that some adjustments needed to be done to fix an exploit that a few players were abusing in PvP. All in agreement, it had to be done for the good of all.

What I'm saying is to deploy a heavy handed nerf that completely breaks a skill tree even more broken than it was before, and not even bother fixing any of the prior issues/problems, is just plain stupid.

sure, start nerving classes because a "out of class line (vampire)" has been cut down ... seriously ?

DK´s and Temps are the only 2 that can 4 man Craclorn "inclass" and you would nerv sorcs ?

They should ACTUALLY balance the game. We have extremely weak weapon skill lines, and ridiculously overpowered class skill lines. Then there are the guild skill lines that take SO long to level that its painful and flat out ridiculous.

I had no issue at all getting mage and fighter guild to 10. Do the dolmens, pick up the lore books. It ain't hard.

Don't dismiss vampirism as a skill line just because that's how they pictured it, vampirism is a buff and a debuff wich normaly makes a character stronguer and weaker in several level (I invite you to play skyrim or oblivion to see the change impact for yourself on a character). People choosing to become vampire should as a result become stronger then non vampire in their own rights however they pay for it dearly with the fire weakness and likely soon to be the guard attack on stage four. They have all the right to be awarded a set of unique powerfull spell wich makes class ability look like toys. Class are just archtype they aren't as important as you pretend them to be. A character can actualy run without a single class spell if he choose to and shouldn't be penalised for doing so!

Vampirism and lycantropy is above what class provide by default.

Okay. Run a build with no class skills. Try a dungeon. Or maybe PvP! Make a video please, I want to taste your tears.

Very well then, this I can work with.

I have no problem with the changes that needed to be made to fix an issue that some players were exploiting in pvp. Fact.

What I said in my opening statement is true. ZoS did not fix a single problem in the vampire passive skill line. All the bugs and problems that were there before the patch, are still there after the patch. Fact.

Vampire are far from fine in PvE. Every time you die, you lose supernatural recovery and have to relog, every time you zone, you have to relog, every time you enter a dungeon you have to relog, and relog, and relog, etc. You get the idea. How do I know? Well, I play a vamp and I have these issues all the time. I have to relog at least 10 to 15 times a day, everyday. Fact.

Vamps and Werewolvs are not a class. You already have a class. Vamps and Warewolvs should be on pair with each other for roleplaying purposes only or just for the fun to be a Vamp or a Warewolf, not to beat the game. To beat the game you should only depend in the 4 classes you can choose when you start the game.

Dont like the changes? Go get cured and go back to play your class like you did before you became a Vamp.
