New Azureblight: What happens if 2 targets reach 20 stacks at the same time?

As the title says Im curious what happens if 2 or more targets reach 20 stacks at the same time? presumably only 1 enemy explodes, but what happens to the stacks on the other enemies? Do they go back to 0 or 1? or do they stay at 20 until the cooldown expires so they can explode then?

Has anyone had time to test this?

i dont have pts installed to test this, but i would assume its very likely if your using like an arcanist beam to hit an entire mob that they would all be generating stacks at the same time

my understanding is that the stacks do have a timer, so i dont think they would just "go away" if your explosion was on cooldown and likely go off as soon as it was able to while the stacks persisted

it has been awhile since i actually used azureblight, because theres not many classes that can make it proc in a reasonable timeframe, and that got worse after u35 made most sticky dots tick way slower
