Resto staff essence drain heal self?

I can't tell if it does or not. The description only says "heals a nearby ally" but since Regeneration heals myself even though the description only says "Heals two nearby wounded allies" I had to ask.

Jastl✭Thank you - that helps a lot. I think it just gets confusing for me since there are some that it mentions 'healing self' too0
