I have no desire to participate in community events for all online games.
I'm not really social enough for very large groups or ( large teeming mob of players in one area) in the game.
If they don't invite me into the community event while I'm doing my own thing in the game, I'll be ok. If they do invite me into the community event, I will go into another zone.
I really prefer forums, small sized guild, dungeon sized groups 🙂.
I'm mostly a solo player who likes doing my own things in the game such as exploring, once in a while quest, dungeons, battlegrounds, and finding in-game bugs.
I thought this was talking about something different that involves massive large groups of players doing something as a community event or for charity, organization, or something in the game. That happens once a month or twice a year. Community ran events like ones in world of warcraft and guild wars 2 that are advertised on social media 🙄 and are also live streamed that desperately want every player involved.
Sorry, I often misread or don't quite understand stuff (reading comprehension related issue).
I think it's talking about one thing instead it's really talking about something else. I'm not really sure 😕. I tried my best to respond to this.

every year there's an event for the new chapter
for summerset it was i think Summerfall and it gave the Grand Psijic Villa as a reward if you had bought Summerset.
the Greymoor event gave the Antiquarian Lodge.
these events have been in august/September and usually just involve discovering all the striking locales or killing world bosses.
though the new chapter gets pretty busy usually due to the double rewards from daily quests you don't have to do anything with the community.
these are some of those events

The house on Telvanni Peninsula currently on the PTS (Kelesan'ruhn) will be one of the rewards.
Gina said so in the Twitch stream on Monday (the 10th).
She didn't give any specifics on the event; she just mentioned the house as being a part of an upcoming community event.
Edit: Corrected the day that the stream occurred.

I guess this is a Dunmer -looking house? I don't have access to PTS....

A mix of Necrom and Telvanni.
(think Tel Galen, but on a much smaller scale, with Necrom light fixtures.)
With the courtyard, I'd call it a medium-sized house, overall. The house itself has three not-huge rooms.
It's definitely not "Notable" size, like Tel Galen, or the Psijic Villa, so much easier to furnish and not have it half-empty with all the furnishing slots filled.
EDIT:
Kelesan'ruhn is also mentioned in the PTS Patch Notes for 9.1.0
Kelesan'ruhn
- Designed by a mycoturge for a now-missing arcanist, this Telvanni-style residence showcases gorgeous views. Both magical and mundane access to a sizable workshop and a cozy living space allow for uninterrupted research and rejuvenating rest, respectively.
- This Home will be available by participating in a future Event. Find the Collectible for it in the All Deeds Envelope, inside The Homeowner's Crate on the PTS template!

Where you do some simple things mostly as solo and there's a global counter where it calculates how many times people did it so the rewards will unlock for everyone in the game at the end if we succeed to hit those goals as a community.

you can group up during every event to do daily quests together for world bosses and incursions like dragons
or kill horrors in imperial city during mayhem
people often do trials with their guild during dlc events because of the extra rewards

Agreed.
Maybe it's because of the MMOs I've played but it always confuses me a bit when people say they need activities for guilds because I've always thought of guilds as a way of organising groups for any of the activities in the game. I'm in 3 guilds and one is specifically for organising dungeon groups (but sometimes does trials as well) and the other two have a regular schedule of events covering all types of activities and are used as a way to put together ad hoc groups.
To me having activities specifically for guilds seems redundant, almost like saying we need additional dungeons that can only be accessed through the group finder.

If you look at BDO, there’s an entire system of map control you can do with your guild and have guild vs guild fights.
We have nothing like that, or anything close to guild competition outside of traders and not everyone gets to be involved in bid wars.

map control sounds like pvp
you can do that in cyrodill and imperial city
