What Do You Do First When You Log In Each Day? Do You Have a Routine You Repeat Each Day?

Just curious if people have a routine like I do? Some days I don't have a lot of time to play, so I try to knock out several things quickly, when I first log on. That way, if I don't get a lot of time, I know that these will be done.
My daily routine when first logging on.
1. I always log out at the Mount trainer, so when I log in, I get my riding speed, stamina etc.
2. Then I grab the crafting writs from the board and knock them out fast.
3. I then port to Northern Grahtwood and grab the daily quest from Zhari and do it quickly. I keep hoping for the Khajiit Brazier but it will probably never happen. I do it everyday, just in case.
4. I then go and pick up the 3 Undaunted quests outside the tree in Grahtwood, but I don't actually do them. I just grab them as I que up for the random normal daily, just in case the random is one of the ones needed for the daily undaunted. Otherwise, as soon as I complete the normal daily, I delete them from my quest log. I do the daily normal just for the transmute crystals.
5. After that, if I got any surveys from the writs I will go and do them.
6. I check my mail and get the money from my sales the previous night and list more items as I always seem to have more stuff to list then I have slots on the traders.

That concludes my daily log in routine. After that, if I have time to do more, I will usually farm different places, depending on how I feel. Some days I farm herbs and other days I farm for rare items in areas or dungeons where they drop. I don't run trials or anything, mostly I enjoy farming and building wealth. I try to farm at least 4-5 million gold a week. Some days I will feel like doing thieving runs. I'll put on my thief gear and go to a place that has a lot of containers and chances for rare furniture plans or drops. Other days I will farm safeboxes for rare paintings and from time to time I will do chest farming runs to sell the starter gear to people.

    My routine: log into each account on PC EU (3 accounts both PC megaservers), one right after the other for mount training on the newest characters, then swap to PC NA for same.

    Then daily writ crafting on however many of my CP 160s I feel like doing (I have 4 on one PC NA account, 3 on the second account, and 1 on the third account, with just one each on the EU accounts), then do whatever endeavors I want to do; then swap to PC EU, rinse and repeat.

    THEN I get to pick a girl to either quest on, or run antiquities on. Whoever it is harvests nodes while she's out (all my characters do, whether they routinely craft or not). I don't do Undaunted, FG or MG dailies - those are the sorts of grinds I just won't do any more. I don't do TG or DB content in this game or any of the single player ones.

    I save surveys until I either run out of CP 160 mats or an endeavor pops in either the dailies or weeklies. Everyone opens whatever chests they run across, as well as Thieves Troves.

    I play from about 7 am until about 2 pm every day.

    Right now leveling the new companions, I can't do it through endless grinding as I don't have the attention span for it. I grab the Fighters guild, Mages guild, and Undaunted daily quests as they give me objectives to complete while killing mobs along the way doing this on 16 characters. So far Azandar is level 20, Sharp is level 11. I take a break from that once in a while to go sky shard hunting on the new Arcanists, stamina is level 32 and magicka is level 16.

    I end my days by stealing everything on the second floor of the Mournhold bank, I don't sneak I just grab. There are no guards on the second floor, log out and by the time I come back the next day my bounty is cleared. In the rare chance they do go down to alert a guard, you can run to the other side and its enough distance for the guard to leash never reaching you.

    I used to but after having several people inform me I’m treating a game like a job… repeatedly… I’ve stopped. I only log on if I have something in particular I want to do and my only “chore” is to check the endeavors and do whatever I can be bothered to complete.

    Right now it's log in, get login reward, check mail, logout. Maybe put some stuff up for sale. If there's events running, I try to do at least one daily. Maybe a couple writs but more than that I can't stomach. Then I wonder has the well run dry. :'(

    I don’t have routines. My time is spent almost entirely on enjoying my characters’ developing stories and experiences, which means things like writs and surveys get done when I feel like it (harvest nodes by my crafter, treasure chests by my antiquarian & thief). With only two characters now following a cull of my unused alts, and a determined stubbornness to play slowly and not rush content, I don’t need to farm, craft, actively level up or do other repeated tasks. That might sound like anathema to some, but it’s been liberating for me.

    I do try to play every night for an hour or so.

    1. (if during event): tickets daily
    2. (if mondays): weekly endeavor
    3. daily endeavor
    4. as many dailies from uncompleted achievements as possible. For example: I've completed all the 30 daily quests from base game up to Murkmire. So now I go Elsweyr all the way to Necrom and try to do as many dailies as possible. I hope one day I will be free of this and when the time comes I will invest my time on farming all the sets in the game and some other minor achievements.
    5. if I'm low on money, I do crafting dailies on all my 20 characters
    6. if I'm low on transmute crystals, I do a daily dungeon and the daily ToT PvP quest

    I avoid routines.

    Every time I get complacent and fall into a routine it starts feeling like...umm...a mundane chore and drives me away from the game. My sense of adventure seems to be contingent upon spontaneity.

    1. Decide if I feel like doing writs that day. Possibly do them
    2. Grab my daily reward
    3. If event, get ever tickets
    4. If not event, decide if there is any chore type tasks I want to do (dailies, surveys, master writs, etc,)
    5. Do any endeavors not automatically completed by doing 1-4
    6. See if there is any group activities going on or do something solo or logout, depending on my mood

    On logging in (one account, both servers), I collect the daily login reward and will then usually do one, two or three of the daily endeavours depending on what they are. Thereafter I do whatever adventuring I fancy doing with whichever character I fancy doing it with. If I'm near a stablemaster I'll do any outstanding mount training with that character. I may do the weekly endeavour, again depending on what it is. I only do crafting writs for the "complete 2 quests" endeavour, and don't do dungeon etc dailies. Any more rigid daily routine feels too much like a chore to me.

    First logging into all characters to collect hirelings and check which research is complete on alts. Then starting new researches and using one day research scrolls.

    After that i do crafting dailies on my main. Then get Tideholm daily reward along with Dark Brotherhood daily reward. If i get surveys i also collect them.

    After that i just log in to my Arcanist and grind his alliance rank.

    First the new character get daily reward, train horse and research if needed. Then I do writs and endeavors if needed, like doing one quest in Cyrodil during the PvP event is automatic.

    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

    I don't have a routine, it depends on what I want to do in that session, unless there's an event going on, in which case I usually collect the event tickets first thing so that I won't forget them later.

    Do crafting writs on all 9 characters; go on a burglary/ murder spree and a visit to IC to do one daily, then (currently) the Necrom daily delve & WB quests. Then maybe a quest or two, if I don't have surveys to collect. That's about all the playtime I have, on a weeknight anyway.

    I don't have much time to play and don't like when the game starts to feel like a chore so I try to keep any kind of routine to a minimum. I'll log into my crafter first to collect the login reward and clear my mail, check the endeavours and decide which ones I want to do.

    After that I'll move on to whatever I feel like doing that day.

    1. Check mail, if there's any;
    2. Daily crafting writs;
    3. Do master writs if any dropped;
    4. Go to Galen for its dailies and use the rest of the enlightenment bonus farming volcanic vents for a Firesong motif;
    5. After this the day gets more open-ended, though lately I've been doing the random dungeon upon finishing Galen dailies;
    6. Do other dailies for motifs, trying to change the order every day to avoid repetition;
    7. Assorted activities: doing whatever endeavor remains, housing, hunting for leads, exploration, gathering mats, dessecrating Necrom funerary urns, etc.

    Yes, it does look like a job, especially since I do most dailies so I can sell any motifs I get. However, housing is expensive and the dailies still manage to distract me.

    Normally, I'll do endeavours and writs first, depending on what the endeavours are. Then anything else I need to do.

    I generally log in and then wonder why I did so. To stop myself getting bored I then find something to do, skill point farming, running arenas, see if any bonuses are up in Cyrodiil, etc.

    There's not much you need to do once all your characters are levelled up and kitted out.

    1. Do writs on 6 characters in a certain order.
    2. The first one gathers the Dragonguard supply chest in Tideholm.
    3. Do mount training on my 2 newest characters by the Vivec City wayshrine on the way to do writs.
    4. Each character goes back to their house and places items gained from the turn ins in a chest specifically for this.
    5. The last character to do the writs gathers all the master writs found that day and does them.
    6. The first character then gathers all the items from the chest and does all the surveys.
    7. Complete the Endeavors for the day.
    8. Do the daily World Boss and Delve quests in Necrom.
    9. Run the Random Daily Normal if I'm in the mood.
    10. Deconstruct items from the writs and dungeon.
    11. Put items up for sale on the guild trader.
    12. Whatever I'm in the mood for.
