I am looking for clarification on the grab bag.

I see that the Group Repair kit was added to the list of drops. Does this drop in addition to the curated loot?

It has dropped before, in one of the events not impossible that this is happening. Just is very strange.

The only potential issue I can think of with having the Group Repair Kit in the grab bag would be what would happen if you had everything else already-- would the grab bag be faded-out and disabled to stop you from spending tickets on it, or would you still be able to buy it only to discover that it contains a Group Repair Kit because you already have everything else?

I got no group repair kits last time. Mind you I already had everything from the bags, so I couldn't even buy them at all. However I was buying them across a lot of alt accounts and didn't get any kits on those accounts either.

I would just ignore that message tbh.

The links in OP's message suggests that group repair kits were not in the bags last time. They're new to be added for this upcoming round of Mayhem.

I think it might have been confusing because in the first link, group repair kits are listed right after the grab bag offerings (but aren't part of the grab bag themselves) because they are still something that the Impresario sells directly for tickets.

...Or you might also be psychic.

Wasn't there some odd circumstance where you could get a crown repair kit? Like you only have 1 thing left in grab bag loot pool. You buy 2 grab bags back-to-back. You now have 2 grab bags in inventory. You open first and get last item. You open second and there is nothing really left in loot pool so you get a crown repair kit? I think the idea was to prevent a grab bag in inventory that you can't open or that is completely empty. It'll default to crown repair kit if nothing left in loot pool. That sounds vaguely familiar but I could be misremembering.

Also, buy grab bags one at a time and open them immediately before buying another.

Yeah I think that's how they used to work, but they changed it so that you can only have one grab bag in your inventory at a time. If you tried to buy a second bag, it would deny you. But it's true they would give repair kits after you've already gotten everything.

I'm not sure if this means we're going back to that system or not. I hope that, if so, it would be the case that you have a guaranteed drop of something you don't have before starting the group repair kit drops.

This seems to not be a problem. I still can't buy the bags - I have everything, so I guess it's just a typo or a problem for people who don't have everything yet?

But now I wonder; if you DON'T have everything, does this mean you have a chance to drop a repair kit instead of an actual item you're missing?

At the end of the last Mayhem, the grab bags were red for me. They are now lit and I can purchase again with start of this Mayhem. Did they add something to loot table that was not there last Mayhem?

Yes. They were red for me too last mayhem and now I'm getting stuff I didn't already have.

I hope they don't actually contain group repair kits. I would rather spend my tickets on stuff I actually want.

Yes they added the House Dufort Banneret style.

Seems they added the group repair kits and the Fighter, Mages, etc commendation stuff for Companions here?

I wasn’t able to get all of the stuff I didn’t have from previous Mayhem events last time because I didn’t have enough tickets. I don’t want any of the above crap because it is not from Mayhem. It was not included in the Mayhem last month.

I guess I just miss out because some of this stuff because it is so rare it never shows up in guild traders.

Is there no weighting applied to these so you only get these non-Mayhem drops only if you have all of the actual Mayhem drops?
