Note that when the Unfeathered Crown Crates arrive, the current Ragebound Crown Crates will be removed from the Crown Store, so don’t forget to pick them up while you still can!

I had zero expectations and you still failed to exceed them. Currently purposefully turned off on PC for their entire stay due to an "exploit" you didn't say existed until a couple of days ago (why not? Not like we could have exploited it with it off anyway?). No effort made into fixing it, no effort made into communicating, no effort made into finding the apparently "temporary" solution of talking to customer support to gift things.

Edit: Oh, but congrats on finally selling a teleport that isn't just a pure recolour. I look forward to the patch note where you fix how much gold it costs to actually use.

As someone who got extremely lucky and got the Lich Polymorph in the free Necrom-preorder Unfeathered crate, it is awesome. Definitely worth trying for if you have any interest in polymorphs at all!

Some good looking stuff, no doubt, though thematically would have preferred more lovecraftian / cosmic-horror looking items (give us mounts with tentacles, eyes & inky black ooze everywhere). A little disappointed that one of the radiants is a simple re-skin of the auroran penumbral wolf & also the fact that the Umaril polymorph face looks like a pug breed in some mild distress.

Unrelated: let’s have a radiant apex griffon at some point too.

Looking forward to previewing things in-game! The new recall animation looks like it should be Legendary instead, but at least this way it won't be all over the place because it looks flashy. Seems like more and more items that used to be Legendary-quality have been added to Apex instead. Guess it's crate inflation?

I hope they get a discount the last week they're available, since we didn't get that with Ragebound crates

I love these new items. People will of course complain about them, but its so much better then what other MMO's used to do with items like this. No buffs, no items that will make you more powerful, just pure cosmetics. Totally optional

Wish I could agree with this more than once. The drop to 5 apex mounts was sad, but 4? Pathetic.

I totally agree... This is a very very frustrating new trend that I really hope they do away with.

The new polymorph with the giant crate bundle is fine with me, as polymorphs were rarely included in the crates at all before, and it's a totally new extra bonus that doesn't mess up the odds of getting the kinds of things you get in the crates like all these... what do we call them? Apex Costumes? Apex Furniture? Apex Customized Actions? It really does feel like simultaneously watering down the Apex category, while also needlessly rarifying things that we really might want more than one of, like furniture!

I was already very annoyed by all the Apex Costumes there have been lately, but I was SUPER excited for the star projector when I saw the data mine, and had hoped to get several to make a really cool observatory, but definitely not now... I'll be lucky to get even one of them! Especially since I really don't like or trust Meridia anymore (not since finding a certain book in Alinor), and have always hated Umaril, so I don't even want these Apex mounts, nor the polymorph...

All the Radiant Mounts do look reeeeeeeeally cool this time, though...

However, I could do without the Camels, but your point is valid. Personally, I want Apex Spiders back!
And Silt Hoppers instead of just Nix Oxen!

Yeah I was initially interested in the star projector too, but an Apex reward? It's not worth it. I'm not going to bend over backwards and waste sweat, tears and time to get a single furnishing.

I can't really buy crates for crowns right now because money is tight and I need to save my crowns as much as I can.
I can't afford to throw crowns on a random chance that I might get that projector, as Apex rewards are so damn rare. Ah well.

I wonder what removing the Polymorph hat would accomplish, if anything from the Umaril armor

Then you lose the eyes & crown-esque effect. I could just whack on meridian purified skin & a helm, but it isn’t the same. I’ll still get it. No doubt, but I just wish it had a somewhat different expression that didn’t look like pug dog after a good telling off.

Wow. Not only did you lazily reduce the amount of apex mounts this season to 4 (and I bet they have no special effects when summoned) but you also make a furnishing item an apex level prize, and not to mention the Legionnaire’s Recall is also apex, but the fact that you all put those in crates at all is absurd. If anything it should be a reward earned in-game.

And all this after the Void polymorph fiasco with the Reach crates. I’m not even going to act like any of this is surprising though at this point.

It's madness that the recall skin and the projector are 400 gems. I was pumped for them, but at this price? I just can't rationalize that. I'm not aware of any Crate furnishing ever being so expensive before! As if the Housing enthusiast community wasn't milked for profit enough already?

Yes, even more.
As there is no guaranteed drop, the only valid calculation is to "buy" gems by turning in doublettes/unwanted stuff like potions.

I get approx 110 gems from 10 crates this way.
So you need 3x15 crates packs to get the required crates, 15k crowns.
21k crowns cost 90 Euro on sale (only twice a year for some days), so your calculation is almost perfectly correct.
Rest of the year they cost 125 Euro. That is quite a price for a customized action or a furniture like the projector.

So does this mean there will be no potions and junk no one wants any more? Is that why everything has moved up a tier? Or are you just getting greedier and making it harder to get the even semi-decent stuff? No one needs any more stupid pets or armour styles (or parts of them anyway...)! From my experience, anything over Epic is a very small chance and now it looks like Superior/Epic is mostly junk?? Are those momentos? And more pets? Where are the costumes? The good stuff? Oh right, yeah... There's some stuff there I think but you only have a 14%(Legendary)/2%(Apex) chance to get them. Wow. Is this to combat the loss of profit due to seals of endeavour lol?

What i heard is, this has something to do with dutch people and their loot box bans.

My problem is, zos should at least put it back on NA. We can’t gift cross server!

zos has nothing about it being related to any country's loot box bans, Netherlands doesnt have that though that'd be Belgium

They could put an NPC in the cities that sells crown crate packs from past seasons.

The studio's profits would increase and players could buy the box packs that interest them.

New players will benefit as they don't miss out on any of the content from previous years' boxes.

The NPC sells the box packs for crowns.

So... about the Steadfast Society Ball Domino in the Epic Rewards...

A golden domino mask with a red diamond on the brow area.

And you seriously named it after the Steadfast Society, a group that has no diamond iconography, rather than naming it after the character in the series whose entire mythology revolves around being born with the Red Diamond on his brow/forehead?

I'm seriously disappointed in whoever picked the name of this item.

Slightly sad because i Was expecting this...

hopefully coldharbor eyes look good in game...

also sad the Legionnaires Recall costs 400... was hyping myself for months for it and i guess i wont be able to have it.
