Hello I'm fairly new to the antiquity system and have been collecting leads for velothi ur-mage's amulet and was wondering, is it normal to not get a lead to drop even after 2 days of non stop farming? Because I still haven't gotten the lead from the underweave public dungeon to drop. I'm not max level yet either so was wondering if that plays a part in the reason im not seeing it drop either.

FYI your level has nothing to do with the leads themselves dropping, it's possible to get golds long before you have the ability to excavate them.
Other people reporting no drops after over 150 bosses, same area.

ah ok so i guess its normal...stinks to hear but at least its not some bug or something. Glad to hear level has nothing to do with it too cause I was worried i wasted all that time lol. Thank you very much for the info it really helps
what makes the grind so much worse is the fact that there is a cooldown for getting loot from bosses in delves and public dungeons. I get making the drop very low that's just basic mmo/rpg stuff but to add an actual forced 5 minute wait for getting loot from public dungeon bosses on top of that low rng based drop rate, that is insane. It makes the grind so much longer for no reason.

the boss loot cooldown is 3 minutes, but some bosses can respawn much faster than that
last night i was farming a delve boss and i swear it went like this
kill1-kill2 7 min respawn
kill2-kill3 10 min respawn
kill3-kill4 8 min respawn
kill4-kill5 10 sec respawn (no boss loot)
kill5-kill6 5 sec respawn (no boss loot)
kill6-kill7 8 sec respawn (no boss loot)
kill7-kill8 2 min respawn
kill8-kill9 4 min respawn (it was about kill 9 when i got the lead i was looking for so stopped tracking after that)
the 3 min timer is well known because of people optimizing plunder skull farming lol (and there is even a plunder skull timer addon that keeps track of the time since last plunder skull pickup and if thats < 3 min then you know you wont get boss loot lol)
its just annoying when bosses have a really variable respawn time of 10 sec to 10 minutes, if it was a consistent 5 min like most WBs then you almost always get loot from them
