Unlike any other chapter, I've never gotten a skill boost for my low-level character from any bookshelf in Necrom. Have you?

Do Necrom bookshelves ever give skill boosts?

✭✭✭✭✭I don't believe I've ever seen a recent DLC bookshelf ever give skill advances. I know I've looked on bookshelves in High Isle, and never received anything from them either. I also don't think I saw any skill advances as far back as Morrowind or Summerset. It seems skill advances might only come with the base game shelves, not sure about Wrothgar or TG/DB.CP: 2078 ** ESO+ 2025 Content Pass ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

Veryamedliel✭✭✭Long story short: yes, they do, and I've had them on almost every world map area. It's quite rare though Perhaps 4-5 per map. I haven't been able to pinpoint any specific location of these books, so I assume it's random. Necrom is no different in this regard and it would make sense you get some skill xp with new characters.
People who claim they never had any skill advancement from recent DLC's are probably maxed out on the skill before reading said book. Or they could be just plain unlucky. Take your pick.Edited by Veryamedliel on June 12, 2023 12:36PM0 -
