After two days into the new class I've to say I really enjoy playing around with my newly created arcanist.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

✭✭✭✭✭Uh, I haven't played mine enough to know yet. I have two on one account (one each PC megaserver) - right now, they're training riding and doing antiquities for gold to fund more riding training. It will be a long time before I really start "playing" them.
And that includes anyone on any of my accounts going to Necrom. WAY too many people. I can't handle mob scenes.______________________________________________________

Yes, I enjoyIts very fun class to play. The Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet mythic is basically required for them though and its an absolute *** to farm. 4 hours in the Public dungeon, with hardly anyone else there today in the early hours. Spent like 12 hours just farming the leads.
if you have the time to farm it during odd hours you will save yourself some frustration.1 -

Said that I think I judged the class unfairly based on very limited hands-on experience in the PTS.
Currently moderately optimistic that I may be able to enjoy (and benefit from) playing a class with lower APM 'requirements', time will tell

✭✭✭✭No, I don't enjoyCrux spinning around all the time is annoying. Skill set offers the worst selection for damage. Using Fate Carver is like being hit with immobilisation debuffs, and completely obscures the view forward.
Not fun. My Arcanist is parked in the stable while I decide what to do with it.

I gave it a go when it was on PTS, didn't find it enjoyable at all for various reasons.2 -

I gave it a spin, and am back to my Templar.
The building element can be a deterrent, and the anime energy beam that locks you in sealed the NO deal for me.

✭✭No, I don't enjoyMechanically, it is fine. Some of the new concepts should be applied to the existing classes, once they get a grip on the tech.
But, the visuals on Tamriel's Discount Rave Party are very dissonant in relation to the rest of the game, and I am really disliking those.
This game desperately needs additional settings to dull and diminish the visual clutter from skills and effects, and the skills on the Discount Rave Party have made this fact painfully obvious now.8 -

✭✭Yes, I enjoySo far I like it. It plays differently from other classes. I like the crux mechanic. The sound and animations are good. To me it doesnt seem any more or less obnoxious than the barrage of colors already on the screen in typical dungeon/trial fights except that its green.
