First off this did not need to be a new post (many discussions on topic are already open), secondly your thoughts are based purely on a what if, instead of being based on actually playing the PTS, and thirdly two-bar heavy builds are also a possibility for those that don't like LA weaving.

My two-bar heavy attack sorc, one-bar templar, and one-bar arcanist on the PTS all work perfectly fine without hurting my hands. Obviously the one-bar setups are the most easy to manage. I can assure you that the empower nerf is redundant if you're not already doing crazy top end damage.

The nerf to storm master depends completely on one's playstyle (low crit setup means it's too unreliable as there is now less opportunities to reproc, but will still buff heavy attacks). However, it should be noted that there are other heavy attack sets that one could use that are more reliable despite giving less of a buff.

Of course, the most important thing to note is that every playstyle in this horizontal progression based game gets nerfed at some point in a way that gets players to rethink what they're doing in terms of rotation and gear. One-bar heavy attack builds still work just fine.
