✭The slaughterfish don't kill instantly which could mean they would need adjusted if the mounts speed was higher than the maximum swimming speed.
Argonians/people that invest in speed might be disappointment that other people can keep up with them or beat them speed wise in water.
It might provide some marginal advantages in Cyrodiil that some people might be upset about.
I think it might be workable if the mount suffered from disadvantages at other locations and was capped at the max swimming speed in water.1 -
MafiaCat115✭✭✭✭✭I feel like the best use for a mount like this would be in zones like Shadowfen so you're not always being dismounted by puddles just deep enough to make you go to swimming. For that purpose, I'd love it.Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. swim speed takes normal movement speed into account (i think normal swim speed is like -50% on move speed, kind of like how stealth is normally -50% on move speed)
you can make a non-argonian swim as fast as an argonian with enough movement speed buffsplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

You could still get attacked by those killer fish if you venture to far but for crossing them rivers where we can swim across I think this would be a nice addition for a new mount.

Would love it but I don't see it happening, unfortunately. The MMO Ashes of Creation has aquatic animal mounts as well as boats and I can't wait. Unfortunately, that game is probably 2-3 years out.0
