Insight on teams thoughts about no-proc campaigns

It has been quite some time since we've got an update on the no proc status of no-CP Cyrodiil and Imperial City campaigns. This patch we see Order's Wrath and Storweaver's Cavort being enabled in patch notes, which tells me there is no plan on removing the rules. Which is, I am not going to lie, strange to me, since the campaign is a lot less popular now with rules across all the megaservers. That being said i would like to hear the teams thoughts on this, either if the plan is to keep it as it is, enabling/disabling more sets or maybe making a brand new no-CP campaign with no rules.

Reverting Ravenwatch back to just no-CP would be a great. Either that or just allow more sets into no-proc rules. Current format is bit dull.

No-proc was a good idea in concept but it is no longer necessary. Ravenwatch (which used to be the most popular campaign on PC-EU) is a shell of its former self and barely reaches poplock most evenings, even after the server changes. It’s time for Ravenwatch to be reverted back to its original format and allow all sets again.

i'd love a no cp with procsets and a cp without procsets so that everyone can play in his favorits rules ^^

On PC EU like others have said, no proc struggles to reach cap. On PC NA, even on weekends, I hardly ever see more than 3 total bars of population across all 3 factions in there.

I too liked the concept of no proc PVP when it first entered the game, but now it is simply outdated. The pool of sets is too small and the sets themselves are just not stat dense enough for the current meta/state of the game.

I'd love to see the ruleset either fully removed, or simply changed to be "sets that deal damage or do healing outside of your abilities are disabled". I think this is what most people usually think of when they hear the term "proc set" anyhow.

Really hope to see this re-evaluated soon in either case. PvP needs all the help that it can get, and this is an effortless change on zenimax's behalf that would go a long way towards providing something for PvP players to do.

Problem is that current option is just blunt - it should not be about banning all proc sets, but these sets which are more for PvE and they are broken/unbalanced in PvP environment.

It's time to make some boundaries between PvE and PvP, because they will be never balanced with current approach. Is it a really big problem to make additional tooltip to show "PvP/PvE only" with some sets? I know that some players can don't see this, but you can add some text warning, when player appear in PvP zone with blocked set on character.

And I have even better idea - why instead of banning sets, just implement seperate values for PvP and PvE with some sets (on unique bonuses) like they already did this time with plaguebreak? They can just put for many sets different damage again player and not-player characters. With other sets like tanking or healing, they can add something like "you get half of this bonus in PvP areas". This way they can adjust many sets without killing them for PvE, where they need to have high bonuses.

I think that's the best idea to limit tank meta in PvP - if all tanky sets will be limited in PvP only, there will be much less overall tankiness and at the same time PvE players won't be hurt.

I believe that main idea was to limit playing by gear to make room for skill. I really prefer no-proc campaign, because I hate all these broken sets combos but also I think this current option is very limiting and not thought very well. Just give all sets but adjust PvP and PvE seperately or at least limit by 50% all effects of gear by Battle Spirit. Just make something more subtle than current option.

I plan to spend all my time in no-proc pvp during midyear mayhem. No carry sets allowed. 😌

In my humble opinion PvP is better without procs and without Cp. I honestly think (on the eu Pc side of things) that the problem is not really the no proc condition, that is loved by quite a bit of people, but is more a serpent biting his own tail issue. People don't play noCp because the campaign is not very active, and the campaign is less and less active the more people migrate to Cp proc. In a similar population enviroinment I am confident many people would prefer to avoid procs.

I think it's kind of silly to not have a campaign that matches a shared BG and IC rule set. How many builds do I need to have per character to experience all of PvP?

I was kinda shocked to see the words "no-proc" in the patch notes, personally. And not just once, but twice. I don't think that's happened in official communications since Master's bow was cut out of the list of usable sets, and that was still back in September of 2021.. feel free to correct me on that one, but I don't remember any other time that's happened since then.

As others in this thread, I would love to see some kind of official statement on Ravenwatch, even if it's just, "We have no plans to do anything about it currently." Though I'm not gonna hold my breath on that after nearly 2 years of the current ruleset and radio silence from the devs' side while the server slowly bleeds out. We've yet to see an official update on PvP of any kind this year - not counting things like Midyear being delayed, the latest update from last year was that there is nothing to share.. :|

They need to add some adjustements:

1/ block the number of people on one alliance when the other alliances are empty (maybe 20 people more than the number of the less numbered alliance), this will permits to fill other campaign and stop ridiculous one-way fight

2/ change the below level 50 campaign in cp no-proc campaign

3/ add more set in the no-proc list, they have many set which can be considered as no-proc

Seriously I just don’t understand the no cp thing when the power creep is so small compared to the old cp where power creep was so much higher
