The problem here is in order to get items we want or sell to a greater crowd we have to change guilds over an over. If i need a crafting item I have to join a crafting type store guild .. and if they dont have the items I have to keep changing guilds til i find the item. WE need FILTERS on the STore choices for Selling and Browsing. We need an option to type in the item we are looking for in the SEARCH when browsing. VEry badly designed. THIS change guild thing is the worst.

    The reasons for not having a world wide AH have been presented in the past and they are logical.

    Nope, totally a planned thing. No AH means there is not strangle hold being set on the selling / buying prices.
    It also serves to prevent a central Gold Seller location for manipulating the economy.
    But no worries, soon you will be able to set up Guild Kiosk for selling and buying to the general populace.

    No AH is fine with me, but I'd like to see a global search across all five guilds.

    You have to take time go through many clickings of finding the item on each of your Guilds .. when you cant find that item your faced with changing guilds .. to find it that is the issue. I have one slot i use for changable guilds right now because I hope to find things i need or at least the option

    It isn't going to happen.

    One big reason is the whole megaserver thing.

    If they put in an auction house, there would literally be MILLIONS of items for sale....which would mean MASSIVE deflation.

    For example...there would probably be TENS OF THOUSANDS of Jute for sale...with that many for sale, what do you think it would do to the price? People would continuously undercut until just about everything is sold for 1 gold.

    Is that what you really want?

    While I agree the current system is horrible (laughable at BEST with no way to search), an auction house is not the answer.

    Well, there are a few options.

    They have finally fixed the C.o.D fee's which already helps alot in trading, Now they just need to re-adjust those damned repair costs or the Decay. Then tbh, i don't need much more.

    But yeah, its kinda bad that i need to pay 625 gold for 30 mins of questing on armor decay lol

    worked fine in gw2, yes millions of some items, buyers paradise. And true some items were trader cornered mark ups, however neither of these 2 catagories would be where most did their trading and buying/selling. From playing about 10 MMOs since daoc, its so far been the best player to player trading format. Its also very easy then for dev to alter supply/drop rates to behave more to their liking when there is full open trade.

    I liked in anrachy online where we had guild stores in our guild cities that you could search through from a central station in the main city and then go to the guild city with the item you wanted and purchase it from the guild store.
