Templar Skill Backlash has not worked in PvP since update 36

Backlash and both of its morphs Power of the Light & Purifying Light have not scaled properly and are doing much less damage in PvP scenarios.
If I have a 6k tooltip and its modifier scales up to 200% even after dealing 30-40k damage in its 6 second period the return in damage is always between 1.5-2k damage with crits between 3-4k.
This ability not working has severely hindered PvP for templars for literal months now ( approximately 5-6 months).
I could say so many things about these questionable templar changes in update 38 from a PvP setting, or even how I feel as a customer but Im going to be real here.
I just want this damn ability to work, players arent asking for much please fix this.

mmtaniac✭✭✭✭✭Templar need whole damage increased in other abilities too. This thing need rework to make it just do damage without charging it. We need this to be more reliable. Right now you are forced to charge it first and maybe later you can deal at least acceptable damage or not. You can't reliad on this that much. Minor breach need changes too to something more usefull as Major Breach.2 -

Totally agree with giving backlash major breach. But templar damage realistically is not that bad. It does need a slight damage boost to jabs but and a reduction of power in beam but thats it at most.
Templar is just on the verge of being too strong with damage, I can assure you fixing backlash alone will solve alot of problems.
