Suggestion for leads

Please can you make acquiring leads account wide instead of character bound.
My antiquities character isn't always the best choice for farming every lead.
I thought it was account wide. But when I go to my scryer she can't find the lead one of my other characters found.

I have 9 characters, it would be nice if I wasn't forced to use only the character that has scrying/excavating leveled.

As far as I've seen, leads have always been account wide - my main can scry and excavate leads that any other character discovers
Not sure why this happened for you - I've never had an instance where one character got a lead and my main couldn't scry and excavate it

Did the lead expire? They only last 30 days.

Or perhaps you’re not in the right zone to scry it? Some leads are found in one zone but dug up in another (e.g. The Heartland). They won’t have you scry or excavate in a PvP zone.

Finding leads IS, and always has been account-bound.

If your antiquities character can't see a particular lead found by another character, that leads me to believe that your antiquities character hasn't finished leveling the antiquities skill lines yet
A character won't be able to see a lead if they have not reached the same antiquities level as the lead.

Or, you are attempting to scry for it in the wrong zone, as virtus stated above.

My suggestion would be no more treasure map leads. That are absolutely abysmal. Low RNG to get map or buy at outrageous price. The more RNG to get lead plus more to one you need if collecting a motif. One of the worst systems in the game imo.
