Oh my!!! No, no, I like the statue (Colossus of Gonfalon Bay, right?), Specifically, which of the main High Isle main quest involves the destruction of the statue? I will avoid it.

It happens at the end of the quest "Investigate the Ascendent Order" aka "People of Import". IIRC it's the second or third section of the chapter main quest.

Thank you! The quest "People of Import" was literally the next quest I was going to do. Nope! Stopping now as I prefer the intact statue view as my character resides in Gonfalon Bay. I watched the destruction of the statue on a utube video and decided not to proceed with the quest. I have way too many other quests to do, so I will go and do them and maybe return to the High Isle quests much later, maybe they will have a statue rebuild by then.

They should do a post Galen quest where you travel to the capitals of the alliances and gather funds and workers to rebuild the statue.

Since some years already, several MMORPGs have happenings causing non reversible changes to game content, at all levels. I can give two examples from GW2:
    - A dynamic event resulted in full destruction of the main city of the game (unbelievable but true). The city was then re-constructed with a completely different architecture. Many players were sad because they preferred the old version, but it was gone forever.
    - One day, we started to have a ghost appearing on our way for some seconds, everywhere in the world. It was a nice one, looking like a transparent human with a rainbow effect. After a while, I couldn't resist and try to touch it. By doing that, I was taken to do a sequence of quests. It was a nice add to the game, but outcome was that once quests were completed, it was over with the ghost. He was no more spawning and there was no way back. Still today, I regret that I did those quests causing me to lose my ghost.

I believe that in the future, such happenings will keep increasing, because it brings a side "real life progression" to the games.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

That would make an interesting Event too!

Just like Bleakrock Isle...I did it on my main...saw what happened and never did it on any of my other characters. I have started many threads about re-building Bleakrock and we will find just like this thread ....ZOS will not respond if this is even possible. It is bad enough to leave Bleakrock and the statue broken but it is even WORSE that Zos will not even respond. Since there is probably little money in it for them...their silence will probably continue!

I did it on 6 of my characters already, I guess it didn't bother me as others.

It's pretty normal for bethesda games to not clean up rubble. Mods fixed most things. Online game though we have to rely on devs. So I doubt it anything aesthetically broken will be repaired.

There is a Random Encounter in Wrothgar that asks for Donations to Rebuild the Orisinium. That city does get repaired over time. Not because of the donations, i don't think, but because of Main Quest completion.

So they could add a Save the Statue society and either do quests or donations to rebuild it

I wish they would. I'm not at all interested in the Wrothgar thing - I don't do Orcs - but I'd be up in spades for High Isle.

You should do that zone at least once. It is what all the DLCs should have been modeled after. It works for any race, but Orcs have a unique experience.

Sorry. I've never been into ocrs as a playable race. And.... I 'm perfectly happy to do surveys and antiquities in Wrothgar, but nope. No orcs.
