Maintenance for the week of April 13:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 13
Update 50 is now available for testing on the PTS! You can read the latest patch notes here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/pts

I, for one, enjoy having things to do ingame that aren't just "run dungeon/trial repeatedly."

Most MMORPGs, once you get to a certain point, is just running dungeons and raids on repeat. and when the game's devs add content, it's almost always just more dungeons and more raids.

I'm happy that ESO has more to it.

I unironically, and surprisingly, enjoy playing Tales of Tribute. Like most people, I laughed and memed when it was announced, but it is actually really interesting and fun to play. And wholly different from your typical CCG. It's won me over.

I kinda wish there was a standalone that I could play on other devices that links to my main account when I am away from my Console. I get why this won't ever be a thing(it'd be a lot of work to make it happen), but it's nice to dream. I also wish there were alternate card backs and tables. The game is cool, unique among typical Card Games, and I hope that ZOS does not let it fall by the wayside and it continues to be actively maintained and added onto.

ESO is the only game in which I've ever enjoyed and been invested in crafting.

I also like the Antiquity system, and how it ties into Housing and Armor. It's fun AND useful.

Overall, I think it is fantastic that this game has interesting non-combat things to do in the game when one does not feel like being sweaty.

I agree. ESO is doing a good job of making Tamriel feel like a world with lots of things to do rather than just dungeons endlessly.

I'm very happy we are getting a new class as it's long overdue. But, I am also glad for all the non-combat activities we've had too. I think it's good they have taken the time to make both.

I love finding furnishing antiquities. I love TOT. I love Housing. All have been worthy additions IMO.

I agree. The list of activities that don't interest my elf is long. . . but the list of activities she enjoys is quite a bit longer. Never bored, always fun!

I absolutely ADORE ToT, its far more intricate than I anticipated, and that , combined with pvp, pve, dungeons, trials, housing, and excavation, I am very happy with where the game is, especially after the server refresh.

Oh me too. I love dungeons and healing in them, but it gets exhausting after a while. Even with meta gear, I still don't feel like I'll ever get high DPS. So it's not as important to keep farming sets.

I've actually been enjoying questing for a change. It's good to dust off some alts and experience old content with refreshed eyes. I'm hunting for mythics and leads too; I still need to get that wolf mount.

I try different classes & play styles when one gets stale. But I have ZERO interest in a card game.

Different people like different things, find different things that equal fun to them. I'm not into the card game but I LOVE antiquities. No use for the companions, but I LOVE questing. I have lots of alts, no one does exactly the same thing - each girl has tastes in playing and as they "age", I move them toward how they feel about differing in-game systems.

Except for combat, ESO fits me very well. Twitchy combat is hard on my aging reflexes, and certainly not helped by massive satellite ping....

I actually find the group content of dungeons and trial's my least favourite thing to do in ESO. I love been in a populated world but doing my own thing and watching others do their own thing.

That's the difference between a group minded mmo player and a single minded mmo player.

I agree, it's nice to have something to do slow and steady.
Nothing relaxes me after a trial run like fishing in some quiet cove. Looking at the float I literally feel as a coil spring slowly releases inside me. While grouping is in progress, I often seek for a place with a good bite, so I can get back there after.

Gathering some mushrooms just for fun is good too.

As for ToT, I didn't taste it enough to eager. Its time will come.

I think this is why I keep being drawn back to pvp even though I’m not very good at it. Yes, the map hasn’t changed much over the years and yes, there’s so many trolls, cheaters, griefers and other toxic types, but to me the big battles with lots of players are just uniquely fun and a never-ending source of entertainment, at least until I get burned out on dying repeatedly to suspiciously-skilled players and take a break.

I dont like card games in eso or real life for that matter, but i get your point about alternate to combat. The concept of trial gameplay does nothing for me, i prefer dungeon content but even that has come to an end. Ive dabbled a little in pvp but running into people who would rather fight npcs and a door has put me off, i think imperial city and bgs will be my next step going forward. As others have said in the thread theres always something else to explore.

The dungeons in this game is really great, I can spend a whole weekend just play random dungeons but after awhile you want to do something else and there are alot to choose from.

Me personally i also enjoy farm stuff to trade with other players in Guildtraders it feels rewarding when the Coins roll in!
