Still waiting for that 2FA email...

I had this problem a couple of months ago and it drove me away to spend my gaming time playing other games. I just came back last week to a game with more bugs than I ever have before (something its famous for at this point)... and now after only two days here I am again... waiting for an email that never comes so that I can play your game. Not interested in waiting any longer. You can send the email when you like. I'll be doing better things with my time.

Did you maybe double check to see if your password was typed in correctly? A while back the launcher was saying it couldn't authenticate a friend of mine and was sending a 2FA email that never came, but it just turned out her password was just entered incorrectly and was displaying the wrong error message for it.

Have you tried logging in again? Some have reported that they ignored the error message which didn't produce an email and simply tried logging in again and it worked.

Also sometimes I forget that my second account that I'm locked out of has a different mail address than than my main account

Have you tried the following when requesting your 2FA email?

Add "noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com" to your email account's list of approved e-mail senders.
- Check your spam or junk mail folders.
If you are using Gmail with the Inbox categories feature, also check your Social folder.
If you are using a firewall or anti-virus, temporarily disable them before making the request.
