Gotta admit, it had me spitting my water when I saw it at the impresario yesterday. Now can you please add hide functions for every othet armor slot? Sometimes I just want my character to run around in leather boxers for the heck of it.

its more so that it gives a much wider option range for costume making.

me personally i want a hidden gloves option, none of the gloves and gauntlets fit with 1 costume i have going and no gloves would solve that
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

Well... it depends. A lot of the shoulders look just horrible, they float above your armor, etc. And some armors just look better without the shoulder pieces (Sapiarch robe for example).

Now if we could just hide the fugly tassets...

Yesterday I bought the hide shoulders option with saved event tickets, and then hid the shoulders on most of my alts. Those alts also have hide helmet option enabled. I think they look better now.

Many shoulders do not go with some outfits, and people can waste tons of time trying to find something that looked 'acceptable' albeit begrudgingly so. At least now if we have an outfit that just doesn't work with any shoulders, we can hide them completely. THANK YOU ZOS!!

I do. Most of the time, shoulders are quite big and hiding a lot. Am not a fan of "heavy" armors making me look like a giant tin can.

And that's not only in ESO. In my main game, I also hide helmet, shoulders and often gloves too.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I suspect that Hide Helm and Hide Shoulders are so popular because monster helms and monster shoulders tend to be rather ugly or outlandish. Yes, you can apply outfit styles to those; but some people just want to bare their heads and shoulders.

By the way, is the outfit system available to everyone, or just to ESO Plus subscribers? I know the old dye stations required an ESO Plus subscription. And there are still two types of stations, even though (according to the UESP Wiki) both function the same way as each other, despite having different appearances and puchase prices.

Only costumes require plus. Outfits have been free since the launch of outfits system.

Gosh I'm so glad to finally be able to hide shoulders, thank you for putting that in!
No more looking like a 747 in some of them. Nor are they sitting 30 feet away from my characters body.
I'd still like to be able to hide shoes and belts please.

I feel the same. Sometimes I think if my character lifted both arms straight up at the same time, some of the huge shoulders would crush her head like a walnut cracker.

Hide shoulders is great, if this expanded upon the next thing I want to be able to hide is hip and crotch flaps.

I say if you use some of the skimpy or more cloth like designs including Khajiit light or Bosmer medium top its impossible to find a shoulder who match well. For more armor design its much easier.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Yes, for certain looks anyway. I'll let you decide which looks better (I know my preference)

I bought it, but with no immediate plans to use it. Not a big fan of oversized shoulders but for my taste there are plenty of acceptable choices. Happy for all the people that have been asking for it for years though!

Try Sai Sahan outfit style. It's impossible to find something that doesn't float above your character's shoulders and stay magically in place.

I fear that is impossible. Those flaps are just one part of the mesh. "Hide shoulders/helmet" removes the entire mesh.

It only took them from launch to get it done. Now for the rest of the armour pieces, please.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

After years of working around this issue I'm not even sure I have any characters that would look better without any shoulders or ones that are seamlessly making it "shoulder-less".
