Dropping that ty in /say is definitely not a bad idea, unless it's going to get you killed right away all over again. The quick option allows you to survive and put your Good Samaritan's Soul Gem to good use.how about just dropping a fast Ty in /say, i dont really see a valid reason to do this when a /say Ty is more then enough in my opinion.
and if you wanted a more productive revive option, theres another option thats brilliantly done in another game i cant think of right now, but easy enough add some xp when you revive, with the current price of the repair costs i dont think it would be exploited that much since there is no dueling anyway.
and to prevent the posibility of exploitation, just add a little timer so you dont get xp for 5 minutes if you revive the same character ;-) or something like that.
It can be dangerous to spend vulnerable seconds reviving someone, too. All the more reason to be able to thank the person who does goes that extra mile. I get a little miffed when I do that for somebody and they just run off, and I feel bad if my rescuer runs off before I can even type "ty."yea well the reason i think most people dont res others are that especially in cyrodill, is not that cheap. soul gems for lvl 50 are quite expensive even when they are empty, so to get some more reward (xp) for the use of your "hard" earned soul gems wouldnt be that bad ^^

I like this idea the OP has. A little common courtesy in game goes a long way toward improving everyone's experience.
"/say thank you" and "/say your welcome" could be added as keybinds in our settings. Then you just bind them up to some spare keys and when needed, one key does the job.
I've been revived a handful of times in PvP and iPvE and would love the ability to thank the player - in the spirit of rewarding and encouraging good team play. Today I'd have to remember the spelling of the team player's name and send them a whisper, which can take a while when on the battlefield. And half the time, if I'm honest, I forget the player's name or didn't catch it in the first place. I wish there was an option to "accept and thank player" for a revive. I'm sure it could be implemented many ways, but I just feel plain rude when I don't say anything because the player's run off and I didn't catch his/her name, forgot it, or got caught up in battle immediately after being revived.
I think this option - how ever implemented - might drive more productive revives on the battlefield.
