Trying to get these bloodfeinds so i can get bit! Bots making that impossible

Not only are bots taking over dungeons but they are now swarming all spawn locations for Vamps and WW. At one time yesterday i counted 7 groups of 4 in the same area...

Are you sure those are bots and not just players? Bots in public dungeons makes sense (or it did before loot fixes). Bots camping a random spawn location is a waste of their time.

I feel lucky, Vamp fit my build. Logged in right after a patch and some nice player (this game has them) Z chatted and was inviting peeps to get bit by the fiend. Was free, and shockingly easy...but also super lucky IMO. The system is broke and should be completely different.

Random mob in zones...you get bit, you don't find out for a few days. You just notice your character being a little off on how he/she should be...this is how it should be. Hell, add a vamp/tutor program or something...like Interview with a Vampire or True Blood...give it some substance.

Nerev, you're behind the times. High-spawn locations now have bots running around in a circuit slaying as they spawn. Has been happening since just before 1.06 patch. Although the WW/Vamp spawn areas also get spammed by high level players to prevent the free acquisition of bites, to maximize their profits. A despicable behavior in my opinion.

Well when all of there names are fgfgfgf, hjhjh, ect. and they all run the exact same path i would say thats a pretty good indicator

Just buy the Blood Ritual from another player. People are selling them all day long. It's easier than camping the site and wondering if they'll spawn or not, and easier than trying to acquire the disease before some other player kills the bloodfiend.

I went there, on a full moon, waited patiently for an incredibly long time, and nothing even spawned.

A lot of people will tell you that you're getting ripped off, paying for something you can get for free. But you're paying for convenience. And it's a much easier way to get the vampirism. Just make sure they feed on you before you give them any money. Don't fall for any "half payment up front" scams.

So they should just give away something that has a 7 day cooldown and trust that you'll pay them? That would be stupid.

No one has to trust in anyone. Just get the agreement in chat. If either side cheats, report them. It's scamming either way, and it will be dealt with.

These are not bots; they are players who, like you, want a bite. This competition does make it difficult; best recommendation is to join a Vampire/WW guild and just wait until someone can accommodate you. That is how I did it.

I had someone randomly shout in zone to get me lycanthropy for free. After playing with it for a week or two with all skills unlocked I decided it was too broken and was debating curing it.

Yesterday I was questing and happened to run alongside a vampire for a while. We chatted in tells and I mentioned thinking about dropping werewolf. Now I'm a vampire. No cost for either.

There are also entire guilds out there dedicated to getting you vamp/werewolf for free. Yes, it takes a little effort to look for them but it's hardly an insurmountable problem. There are enough people with both now that any efforts to maintain the high prices on such an easily scammable practice are just futile efforts by people that desperately want easy gold.

The bots/camping in this game are the worst I have ever seen, you almost cant play due to it.

It's bad in lower-level zones, and it's still not a gamebreaking issue.

So now I'm to blame for what someone else does? People were selling vamp bites before these bots ever showed up. I'm certainly not selling a bite for nothing but a promise of payment and no vamp should.
