Is there a recipe where I can bake a Colovian War Torte? I looked in the Elder Scrolls Cookbook recipe index online and found nothing.

Any suggestions as to where to look?

The standard recipe is found replacing any nodes in Cyrodiil. It's a glowing green book called "Lost Imperial Notes."

It's pretty rare, and it can be found on guild traders for quite a bit (I think it's over 2M on PCNA)

The higher levels require the above recipe AND an improvement material. It's buyable for 500k Tel Var for the 100% one, and an incredibly rare BG drop for the 150% one. I only know of one that I've seen on a guild trader for over 230M.

I found one at a milegate, another between Blackboot and Bloodmayne, totally random. No matter how many you find, it's still as exciting as the first time. :D

i bought the recipe when first came out for 800k gold from a friend
if you have gold ,save yourself of hours/days of farming nodes at Cyro-drop is not guarantee, I know ppl who never found one even they farm every day- and buy the recipe from a trader
or buy as much ready war tortes you find-about 700-800g a pop

I think the op is looking for an actual recipe to bake a tart in their oven, not the ingame recipe.

I would make something up like a carrot and almond frangipane tart with a marmalade layer on the pastry

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding

Tarts and tortes are different things.

A torte is a dense cake with various ingredients, and little flour. However the image they use in the war torte recipe looks like it has a pie crust? Which makes it tarty?!

I would suggest looking up a recipe for a carrot cake style torte and adapting it.

Not sure what the equivalent of frost Mirriam is, you could maybe use angelica for that. Or tarragon, to give a little aniseed flavour

Same with bervez juice, it doesn't seem to have an irl equivalent so... There isn't a lot of liquid in a torte, so instead of putting it in the torte, put it ON the torte - maybe get a bag of frozen mixed berries, turn them into a coulis to drizzle on top before serving.

Orange zest can go in the torte. Then use a marmalade or orange jam in between the layers. A cream cheese and honey frosting, "bervez" drizzle on top.

If you want it to look like the picture, like a tart, try adapting a bakewell tart recipe. Search for "orange bakewell tart" and then add finely grated carrot into the batter.

Yep, I went with the pastry picture with my idea!
