Clarification on Patch notes

I was wondering if I could have clarification on a particular part of the patch notes.
Several weekly timers have been aligned to reset on Tuesdays at the same time as the daily resets, including:

Trial, Solo and Battleground Leaderboards
Weekly Quests and Black Sacraments
Event Tickets

The event tickets is what is confusing to me. I thought event tickets were gained daily and not weekly. Is there some kind of weekly timer for tickets?

This was under Daily/Weekly Reset Timer Updates header.

    That's an error.

Event tickets will reset daily with the new timers.

That does make the most sense.

But I was also wondering if this means events were going to leave/appear (turn off/on) at this time instead of during patch time (which is usually 10 AM EST, thereabouts).

From the PTS, it looks like that's a no.
We also mentioned in a thread that Black Sacraments and Event Tickets were not included in these changes, but upon further investigation we can confirm that both Black Sacraments and Event Tickets will align with the updated daily reset timer. Apologies for the confusion here! We’ll be monitoring how this change affects ticket acquisition rates before making any further adjustments to Event Tickets specifically.

This does mean that the NA servers are going to have major problems getting the last day of event tickets since the reset is about 4 hours before the events end, and that's at a very inconvenient time for most of the US (about 6-10 am EDT). It would be much better if events started and ended at the resets, and I hope that they do consider starting and ending events at the reset going forward so we can make it fair for all players on all servers with no partial days at all.

That's interesting, and I agree with you completely, Tom. It's better to have the events ending and starting at the reset. It was hard enough getting the last ticket as a NA player; now it's going to be such a narrow window....

I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to respond and pull these quotes! I didn't see them before, and I appreciate it. :)

It might be specifically referring to Event Tickets which are earned by completing weekly quests. I think most players prefer to earn their Event Tickets by completing daily quests, but some of the events do allow players to earn a ticket by completing a weekly quest, even though such tickets are still subject to the daily limit-- that is, if there's a limit of 2 tickets per day, you can't earn 2 tickets by doing 2 daily quests and then earn a 3rd ticket by doing a weekly quest.
